I'd rather be 10-0 and have full stadiums. But I'm happy to just have a season at this point.

I want it back to normal period like many of us do. Playing playoff games with no fans when you potentially might have an undefeated team is not normal. And there is a way they can do it in a safe manor but since the government in this state would rather control every aspect of your life they choose not to let that happen.

If they went to a Bubble Scenario for the playoffs, would the #1 seeds host the Bubble?

They don’t need to do that. They have made it through 11 weeks now with really only one hiccup this year and that was the Titans situation. Leave things the way they are now with the teams with the better records getting to host the games. No need to change anything now it’s working fine leave it alone.

You can go to a Walmart, Dollar General, Lowes, Home Depot, Grocery store, Convenience Store, Massive warehouse work site that are all much more confined spaces but you can't go to a 65,000 seat stadium at 25% capacity nor a struggling restaurant just barely able to support their downsized staff.

If the players can be tested for Covid and then go sweat, tackle, breathe, perhaps cough and even sneeze on each other without wearing cloth masks then fans should also be able to go get their free Covid tests and bring a slip stating they are negative from the disease, then get their temperature checked for certainty and enter said stadium wearing cloth masks if required.

Because when you go to a store you're not standing or sitting in one place, you're on the move. But a restaurant, stadium, theater etc you're staying in one place for a long period of time. I realize I'm never going to change your mind, but some, not all, of these actions do make sense.

That logic makes zero, I mean absolutely zero sense. If it made any any sense at all it would be considered on the yocto scale of believability. To prove my point, why are all the places I mentioned not self checkouts only? Employees are there anywhere between 4 to 16 hours per day. Don't seem to be dropping like flies either.

Folks, let's keep this focused on the issue of fans at games. digging in and taking positions on what should or shouldn't be done in society, masking vs. not masking, how deadly COVID is or isn't, etc is touchy subject matter for many, and just leads to increasingly ugly discussions.

This is a football message board.

Death rate with 1 month lag is and has been holding fairly steady for the last 4 months at 1.6-1.9 percent.

    **edit**
And that is calculated using average daily deaths in month X+1 divided by average new daily cases in month X.

From what planet do you get your news? Deaths are the highest since May: https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/us/

In a week I promise you we're going to surpass the daily death max in the US and exceed 9/11 numbers. Probably get to 4K a day.

I doubt (other than family)if you will see them the rest of the football season in Pa. Pa has clamped down on
this type of activity. Our surge rate positivity rate is just too high.

Since we're at 265,000 deaths right now, with a vaccine rolling out, how are we going to get to 5-6 MILLION deaths? Over what time period?

The home field advantage is that the team does not have to travel.
