I liked Leonard and many here didn't, the kind had a monster senior bowl which caught my attention and when I looking more into him. With that said I also was not on the LVE bandwagon and he has been lights out. You win some you lose some but like what was pointed out if you are dropping the LB's into coverage why not look at guys like Leonard?

 

another downfall to this regime is when cowher was here and at the very beginning of tomlin's tenure we had some good quality control coaches. MT did away with them. one and maybe two years we had none. then he starts bringing in these guys that are so young and never worked in the nfl or barely even college and made them our quality control coaches. olsavsky was for a short while then and sarrett for a short while. these coaches are very important to building a game plan against your next opponent. this is part of the "we do what we do" component to MT's teams.

You know who has success in this league? Teams that get to the QB.

Even the Messiah Tom Brady....nearly every game he loses is due to pressure on him.

This defense all starts with the front five in our case.

Years ago it was fun watching the Steelers play defense. Now it's turned into a nightmare.

Everyone talkimg about the back Six defenders and getting better material...we can have Mike Wagner, Blount, Donnie Shell .....Woodson....

Won't make much difference if the QB has all day to throw.
