Of course. Coaches and coordinators are always to blame. Big ken missing open receivers is a scheme issue not a talent issue.

Canada stinks, and he has since his first year when Ben was still playing. I said it back then, and I'll say it again; Ben wasn't the problem his last year, Canada was. We have the same issues with Canada now that we did with Ben at QB and other O line members.

But the O line is playing bad, and Kenny is playing awful right now, too. So bad coordinator/schemes with bad execution by the players is a recipe for disaster.

All they talked about was the nfl evolving and mobile QBs yet our offense looks nearly identical with a big statue, a 2 glove, genie bouchards ex bf, and a former #2 pick.

 

Kenny isn’t playing good ball but how anyone can watch the offensive play calling and not see a huge problem is laughable.

They are a professional football team and run a High School offense.

 

The motions didn't look as clunky yesterday, but I watch some other teams enviously and its night and day.

When Ben was a rookie we had a strong running game and limited him to 1 side of the field. Why cant they design plays like that specific to pickett's current skill set which is look shaky in the pocket and throw behind people.

 

And no one is being held accountable from Art on down.

Oh and the Steelers went 4 for 14 on third down.

 

And had 9 first downs. And -7 yards in the 4th quarter. How much longer do we have to watch this BS?

If you have a bad coordinator and a bad O-line, 99 out of 100 QB's will look awful. You are NOT going to see a "good Kenny" or even a good Steeler QB no matter what his name is, EVER, if they don't fix at least one of those 2 problems and honestly both.

 

Yes, we are. The play calling was atrocious. Especially on second down. Of course there is more to it than that, but Canada is still Canada.

 

We probably could have had Bienemy and look what he's doing with freaking Howell.

Warren Harris split 50/50

All of this is proceeded by firing Canada OR letting someone else run OC position

On a serious note when there are only 17 games each one holds a lot of importance. Not like MLB where some teams don't wake up until 30-40 games are in the bag. In MLB I'd say my team is in Playoffs as of now with 15 games to go. That sounds normal. Sounds funny when saying it about NFL.

I get folks being upset but for me, if we gain 25 yards all game and win ... it's a good game.

 

Canada isn't going anywhere! Steelers don't fire anybody. We have to live with Canada. If I owned the team he would have been gone years ago! He wasn't even a good coach in college. That's the truth!!!!

 

Kenny is definitely starting to worry me but as many here say he’s probably getting at least 2 more years….

 

They fired D coordinator Tim Lewis during the season back in the day but yeah, probably not happening.
