I was so hoping that he was going to be the next Shazier. He was never close. You would not even know he was in the game most of the time. There were two ILB in the 2019 draft. Devin Bush and Devin White. Both are still playing. Bush has 289 tackles, White has 509. That type of a disparity might have something to do with the Steelers letting him go.

Add to which T. Edmunds has only started one game. You see 3 wasted 1st round draft picks. That started most of their time here

Well, Bush was out for a year, hence the big difference in tackles, and wasn't the same after his injury. Besides, White was already gone by the time the Steelers picked
I don't think Bush was a wasted pick, but I don't think he was worth trading up for either. He had a good rookie season, and was playing well his 2nd year up until he was injured. White was already gone by the time they picked Bush. Also, people tend to overrate Shazier I think. He was better than Bush, especially at making splash plays, but it's not like he was an All-Pro or anything

We will agree to disagree. IMO any 1st round pick You pick , and don't want to keep, and can't barely get a starting job, or keep one elsewhere is a wasted 1st round pick. I'm only speaking as a 1st round pick.

    He is signed

He is signed with Seattle until March 15

I’m surprised Seattle has not released him

Then you surprise very, very easily. Seattle finished paying him at the end of the season. The only thing for them to do now is either resign him or do nothing and allow him to be available for negotiation starting Monday.

He did say it’s not like he won’t be playing for somebody, he just didn’t specify what league though.

    That is correct

    Now you are catching on

But unlike the Steelers who released a bunch of players early Seattle is hanging on to him until the last moment

The players that the Steelers released had additional years on their contracts.
