Bus rocked

    I don’t think I have ever watched another back who could run through fully squared up tacklers seemingly without losing any momentum at all.

    Not only was he a great player, but a team leader and all around good guy who stayed out of trouble. And that wasn't because he was always a choir boy; he found himself selling drugs on the street in high school until Mama Bus laid down the law.

    I am not so sure about what qualifies, I saw Earl run over way more people than the Bus ever did.
    Hence his very short career. Bus is one of my all time favorite and just all around good guy.
    Time to make the donuts.

    Joe Greene was interviewed many years back for a Sports Illustrated article entitled “Violence in football”. Joe replied, “ trying to tackle Earl Campbell, now that’s violence in football”.
