    I think it goes thru more channels than just wanting to have it your way. I'm sure there is a ton of beauracratic BS that has to be signed off on just to wear alternate uni's.

    They're usually allowed to wear them twice a year if I remember correctly. Last couple of years they've only worn them once per year. If I had to venture a guess, it's probably too late in the season to wear them, but I could be mistaken.
