Questionable OL. QB on his last leg. Questionable Secondary with FA losses at slot and outside CB. Against the 2nd best team in the AFC. What could possibly go wrong on week 1?

It's not going to be pretty. Hopefully the inevitable Buffalo decline starts early.

Actually this may work out well for the Steelers in the long run. Stinking it up at the beginning of the season and then finishing strong instead of the usual strong start and epic collapse. I just hope Steelers don't lose too many games in September/October.

Are you insinuating that a week one game at the AFC Champion runner-up is a must win?

Many of the usual prognosticators above had the Steelers losing week after week for the first 11 games last year. I believe the tired old expression - "That's why they play the game" still rings true. I can't wait from week to week. My new lady friend this past season (and a brand new Steeler fan at that time) was a true lucky charm who brought much early success to Steeler Nation. But shamrocks can only carry a team so far. I'm asking her to spread the cheer over about 20 weeks for this next season.:thumbs up::clapping::drinks::rawk:

Hope we win, but not going 2 hate on it either way.
Seen enough seasons we lose , Hell even get blown out in the1st game ,and yet the Season is a good one.
    Have also seen the Opposite.
    So...
Like I said Would love 2 win it...Hell win every game would be Nice

It's better than playing NE or another rival at the beginning of the season. Maybe we're better focused on a better team with little rivalry for distraction. JuJu won't have stupid things to say and we certainly won't be full of ourselves at that point. Maybe this young team will show up with something to prove, instead of thinking we're doing the opposition a favor by gracing them with our presence.

Also, there won't be any film on Harris and our "new look" offense. We know more of who the Bills are than they know who we are. Will be a good litmus test for us to begin the season.

The schedule in itself is brutal. Bills, packers, chargers, chiefs, bears, packers( if they keep rodgers), broncos( if they get rodgers), seahawks and the 4 gms vs cle/bmore.
