I heard he nailed his pro day running a 4.45 and looked good. had seen a mock with us taking him in the 2nd. I watched him against Alabama in the playoff game and he looked like he played as fast as he timed.

does anyone know more about him? I mean is he a good fit for us or is he like peppers and has no true position?

Most likely he won't be around at our second pick, as he's (by most people doing the rankings) the #2 free safety. I would seriously have to consider him or Marcus Williams if they fell to our second round pick.

On that point, if you look at the safeties we met with at the combine, they do tend to fall into the "free safety" catagory, as opposed to the "strong safety catagory". And the Steelers were pretty adamant last year that Sean Davis was drafted to play strong safety.

body type puts him at the safety position solely imo

Took notice of him at the combine but haven't looked at his film yet.

Look real good during drills though.

He's on the small side, I don't see the Steelers being that interested.

I like him, but his size is not good.

    This.

Pittsburgh is now levitating towards bigger guys now. Obi Melifonwu is a prime example. If not him, Marcus Williams is yet another.

He gets knocked off balance pretty easily I thought. Haven't seen anything in the games I've watched that screams "must have in rnd 2"
