Bryant reinstated!

Finally. Hopefully he's learned his lesson and won't screw it up.

Cool. Now I get to hold my breath all season waiting on screening results.

Hope he capitalizes on his next golden opportunity. Might just be his last.

 

Bad news for the other AFC North DBs... This pass offense is going to be exciting.

 

HOLD UP...PUMP YOUR BRAKES!! (bad)dell has done it again. According to our GM kC....bryant is only reinstated for the preseason and not for the regular season yet. Bryant has done everything that the league has asked of him but still.. being punished. This is some bull crappalacka!

 

Interesting, I never knew they would have put a distinction b/t preseason and regular season like that on his reinstatement. Small steps are better than no steps I guess.

 

The preseason only reinstatement could be good. If he is only cleared for the first game right before it, the other team can't game plan well.

 

They will game plan for him as much as they can regardless, it's what they do. Just like every other team always swears up and down they're game planning for Ben in all his maybe he'll play or won't moments week in and out.

 

I know Ian Rapoport has a minor credibility issue (but don't they all in this era of fake news?) but according the the article on nfl.com:

In order to gain full reinstatement for the regular season, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported, Bryant must continue to attend mandatory counseling sessions.​

 

Really hope he does whatever it takes to be ready for game 1 and all season. With his talents he could make this team deadly

 

This may not be popular, but I'm glad Goodell and the NFL brass are keeping a tight rein on Bryant. They need to save him from himself. At some point he's going to have to do it on his own, but he needs to understand at this point that any idiotic misstep on his part, he's done! Shoot, keep the carrot out there. I don't care if they "conditionally reinstate" him for each game this season if it keeps him clean.

 

While this is certainly a step in the right direction, I'm going to wait until 1:05 pm, Sunday, September 10th before I get a chubby about this. As good as he may be, Bryant is not going to help the Steelers win a Superbowl in the preseason.

 

Good now let's get the other pothead in camp and SMOKE the cheatriots In the playoffs

 

since these games don't count is he really reinstated? ahhh on go the mysteries of the nfl front office. sorta like the formula of the comp picks. one of those unsolved mysteries of the world.

 

I watched him over on the 2nd field thru binoculars yesterday at training camp. He is in fine shape.

There is hope for the Steelers to have a good offense. But the offense won't do squat vs. Patriots.

It is the most talented offense in the NFL with the one of the worst coaching staffs.... Flame suit on.

 

As long as he wasn't smoking the defenders or really lighting it up on the field I think we'll all be happy. Contained enthusiasm.
