    I have not heard the story but being that the game itself doesn't start til 6:30 pm, I wouldn't have a problem with players staying up half the night playing cards so long as they're not drinking. More than likely they will have trouble sleeping anyways so you might as well occupy your mind some other way.

    We were doing stuff like this the night before going into combat. Doesn't mean anything really. There is a number of reasons why people would do this. For us, it was a way to forget about our nerves for a while. I imagine it being somewhat similar...nerves wise anyhow.

    I agree with the others here, just playing cards, doesn't say they were partying or anything. They were home and just stayed up late.

    Did anyone find the interview from Sirius? You have to hear him tell the story the part I heard was cool.
