I don't think he can play either though due to protocol.

They will just pry any knowledge they can from him about this game coming up then kick him to the curb.

He played one game with the 49ers this season, and got burned several times.

That was a wasted reach on a guy .Too bad, he had all kinds of smarts and measurables.

He last played for the Steelers in 2018. I wouldn’t worry about any knowledge on his part.

Yep you can just Google Steeler Offense play calling and route tree.. The entire O will pop up along with our entire running game and complete route tree...So need to do any spy stuff the entire mind of RF is 1 click away..

Seriously trying to get secretive intel from a TOMLIN coached team lol

Why even bother nothing is left to imagination or worried about surprising game plans surely.

We will run the same short pass offense we have all year with shotgun running draws for 2 yards. Only question is does Ben hit some deep balls like the second half of Indy or not like the previous 3 games??

Yeah that do what we do crap gets old real quick.. I actually think Tomlin prefers not to micro manage , but has hit a wall with RF .. I have no doubt he had to make RF use Dobbs he probably been hinting at it the entire season ....How about instead of we do what we do .. We do what they don't like us to do ....Why let a Defense play comfortable? Look for weaknesses on tape then design plays that attack those,, I have some hope we may see more of this moving forward..

That would require you know actual game planning and adjustments. Two things TOMLIN is not capable of.

This is a vastly different defense from the one Allen was in..... I suspect Allen was signed because he's the closest thing available to physically matching up with claypool

Browns: So Brian, tell us what Tomlin would do if we run to the right
    BA: he would crush grapes
Browns: what would he go if we go 5 wide?
BA: he would go into the kitchen and cook up a tackle
Browns: What if Baker were to scramble?
    BA: Tomlin would unleash hell

I suspect they signed Allen because they were desperate, if he was any good the 49ers would've kept him this season.
