mcCoy is one of the nfl's good guys and clearly was in a bad position in cleveland............ weeden will be put in the same situation with no real weapon to throw to....... colt will be better off out of there..... while i don't think he has the arm strength to run our offense, i do think he could be an effective starter with the right scheme and weapons around him....... i wish him luck.............. the only thing the browns did was ensure that they will continue to be at the bottom of the division for a good while.

I know that, but to me, they stopped being that team when they left Cleveland. No dog pound, no rabid fan base (not saying Raven fans aren't passionate but Browns fans are nuts) and different uni's of course. Not to mention the name.[/quote:1xsapizz]

I here you. It was a great rivalry - 3 yards and a cloud of dust old style football. But for me, it will never be the same. That team in Cleveland is an imposter no matter how good they become. Art Modell screwed it all up.

Aww, C`mon, Winginn,,, I think I could do better at re-posting a whole bunch of posts, to fill the whole page up, if I really wanted to...and making a bigger mess out of it, than I did. :hehehe:
Thanx for posting my whole reply, instead of just the part you highlighted, to help me waste space. ;)
Maybe if we collaborate, we could completely screw up a thread, and have ppl wondering what the "village idiots", were talking about toasters, for... :roflmao:

IF he could have ever been an effective starter (and I don't think he could be), the Clowns have ruined him, just like they ruined Tim Couch and his successors. No one's going to give him a chance to start, unless something catastrophic happens to a team he might go to.

I agree that it would be better for him (and the Clowns) if he were out of there, but it looks like they're gonna keep him, pretend to have a QB competition during training camp and then use him as their backup. This is a LAUGHABLE scenario, but what else do you expect? They're Cleveland - a team run by a SOCCER owner!!!
