Antonio Brown is currently leading the AFC in all purpose yards with 1665 Yds. And he is still probably not our opponents #1 concern in their gameplan. Nice to be a Steeler fan.

Wasn't aware of that statl. So, projecting stats, he needs 335 to top 2000 this season. With 2 KR per game and 2 catches per game, it would be enough...

And probably he'll be our receiving yds leader by the end of the season, if Wallace keeps double coverage the rest of the schedule.

I can't prove it, but I felt early on that this kid was the unsung member of the young money crew. That's why I grabbed his jersey. Sanders is right there and they have slightly different skills. Years ago I thought Holmes was our Ward in waiting, and still think he could have been if only he had the right attitude. Brown seems to be that guy now. Not sure if he'll be as good as Santonio, it's close. Who was further along at this point in their career? I just wish he didn't do that first down pointing thing. I don't see the point. But, if he doesn't get penalized for it, I just let it go as game enthusiasm. Hard to argue that even if I prefer the Hines Ward 'act like you been there before' attitude. I mean, no body really complains about a pass rushers sack celebration do they?

Have you ever seen Hines get a first down? Maybe you mean Heath Miller.

Hines definitely has a first down act, too.....However, my daughter would agree with you on Brown (she is 18). She saw something in him and, she too, is a proud owner of a #84 jersey :)

Agreed. You beat me to this comment. Hines has been doing that same first down pointing thing for years.

Also, Brown was named AFC Special teams player of the week

Maybe I missed something. Ward takes the ball, points it toward the endzone and drops it? Every time Brown does it I feel like he's going to get a delay of game.

The thing that gets under my skin, is Brown does it even when the offense is in the hurry-up and the game clock is running down. There is a time and a place for it, but not when your fighting against the clock for one more play. Toss the ball to the ref so it can be spotted quickly and go!!
