    L. James would be a great fit for the Steelers. He was truly dominant in college (maybe the best RB ever to come out of Oregon, better than J.Stewart, K.Barner, L.Blount,etc..). Now that Archer is injured, we need a change of pace back (L.James) and he is very quick, very fast and a good pass catcher and a great return man. He plays very physical for a smaller guy and would be more durable than Archer. We are already thin at RB. Who knows what will happen with the 'shake and bake' incident earlier. L.James left SF because they were loaded at RB and he wasn't getting the chance he deserved.

If Archer is expected to miss considerable time ,then why not. But if Archer will be back soon and he has a huge leg up in knowing our system then probably no use to get him as he would be 4th. on our depth chart as well..

I also would add that Bell looked like a change of pace RB his weight loss has made him a lot more effective.

James hasn't shown anything in the NFL not interested, he doesn't seem as fast like he was in college. He's better off in a offense like Chip Kelly in Philadelphia.
