I have no issues with Flores if he ends up being the coach. But to think that finesse can't work in the AFC north is just wrong. Besides, you can have both a finesse passing game, a strong running game and a strong defence. It doesn't' have to be one or the other.

Eh, I think it’s fair to discuss the lawsuit and have an opinion on it. Racism is not welcome at all on the board (or in society as a whole), but that is what the lawsuit Flores files is about… so talking about the case will mean a discussion dealing in topics of racism. Having an opinion against Flores in the case doesn’t make someone or their opinions racist.

Flores’ case is both against the NFL as a whole (and its arbitration system) and 4 NFL teams (Miami, NYG, Houston, and Denver). He is accusing the teams of discrimination as well (as I understand it) as a discriminatory arbitration system of the NFL. 2 of the 4 teams that he cited discriminatory hiring practices hired black coaches in the hiring cycle that Flores is suing over (Miami, and Houston), while Denver had a black coach a couple years prior to Flores. Only NYG have no history immediately before or after with black coaches. I don’t know anything about the arbitration with the league or whatever, but there is actually a distinct possibility that Bob’s assessment of the case is what actually happened.

    Nice ramble

    Irrelevant to Bob’s inappropriate remark

I hope you aren’t agreeing with him

How is that racism? I don’t see it. I could see criticizing an "insensitive" use of female genitalia as possibly valid, but I fail to see how concerns over Flores's objective history of branding others racist is, in itself, an act of "racism".

It's not racism. He thinks everything is racism. BTW, Flores is getting a second interview. Ugh.

Yeah, I'm not too keen on it. Hope I'm wrong about the guy, but of all the candidates, Flores is, by far, the one that I'm the least excited about.

It isn’t a ramble nor is it irrelevant to the remark. I wasn’t agreeing or disagreeing with anything, as I don’t post any opinions on sensitive topics (like this one, or politics) on public forums….

I was simply stating that Bob’s remark wasn’t problematic in a vacuum. His opinion of the situation is that Flores didn’t get hired in the cycle after getting fired so he sued for racism, because he was throwing a fit that he didn’t get hired. It’s a plausible possibility that it is true. It is also possible that discrimination happened… I don’t know what else to tell you.
