I know what they have done against Lamar, it still can't hurt to have a guy like Flores to help scheme the defense.

I just want to see Flores coaching one on one with Bush this offseason.

A lot of videos out there talking about Flores's hands on approach to coaching players.

 

I believe getting Bush right is the highest priority for Flores and maybe the biggest reason he was brought here. That kid was awful last year and the org made a massive investment in him. Getting him to play well would be a huge win for the Steelers.

For Bush it's all about health, first his knee, then the health of the d-line. If the d-line cannot keep the blockers from getting to the second level, Bush will be pretty ineffective. Bush does need to put in the work to be as fast and strong as he can be. I am not convinced Bush has the great work ethic like Shazier had.

 

I saw a lot of games last year where Bush was simply out of position, he had committed himself to the wrong hole to early and had to watch as the RB ran by him because he was trapped in the wrong position. He was guessing where the RB was going to go and he had guessed wrong.

Hopefully these mistakes by Bush can be corrected by Flores.

I have not been impressed with Jerrry Olsavsky's development of our ILB at all for the past few years. I know he has been here a long time, but it may be time to move on.

 

If I had my way, anyone using the term 'racists' would need to produce a 2,000 page essay on the meaning and use of the term. It gets flung about wildly these days.
"Flores is racist" - gotta admit, this is about the only time I've heard that. You've got guts to stick that one out there.
Tua is an interesting study. He played well down the stretch, but I think 'injury' is always a threat to him.
If Miami were to actually throw in the towel with him and just start over, I might be willing to pick him up. Tua is light years better than Haskins or Dobbs.
But I get the frustration with Tua, and the concerns. By the way, he was over drafted.
The hip injury may linger as he ages, and he has thrown some really stupid picks. The development has been slow. (see over drafted)
Miami in general is poor to develop QB's. Tennessee cashed in on that aspect as the former WR turned QB Tannehill hasn't been spectacular by any means, he does win games.
Flores as racists, I'm going to have to take a pass on that.

Might as well get AB to coach wide receivers if we are going to have this much drama with Flores.

 

Nor sure why he shouldn't talk about it. If it is proven true it speaks to his integrity and character. An NDA and settlement would allow ownership to sweep questionable practices under the rug while hiding behind the false image they are putting forward.

 

No he blames everyone else for his own stupid and arrogant decisions that have poisoned the workplace. Sorry everyone work has been pissing me off lately.

 

My take is it's a heads I win tails you lose situation for him. Like Coach T or not he seems like a Coach who wants to win, he has problems with playoff games and games against weaker opponents. With that said I do not see him Coaching a Team that is not at least competitive and IMO Ben has had a lot to do with that whether for the good or bad.. So my take is Coach T will do all he can and if it works then the new hire will have more offers, if it does not then Coach T will retire for a bit and leave a door open for him...Seems like a great spot to be in with what he is trying to prove has happened to him...

If he was just into making waves then why even Coach? IMO he loves the game and has knowledge and skill to bring to it as such it seems to me he is a great hire for a transitional state and at a spot where he can still show his worth and increase his value while maybe getting filthy rich if his accusations are even close to true .. So me for 1 won't get caught up in that aspect of it and just watch his performance at the position he signed up to Coach.
