Just wanted to update this to 3 playoff wins in 25 years.

 

Jason Garrett had 2 playoff wins in 10 seasons.

Tomlin has 3 in his last 11 and 0 in the last 5.

We are talking Cowboys, and Steelers. Not Tomlin, and Garrett.
They have had 3 playoff wins since We last met in the SB.
We have been 2 three SBs in that time, and Won 2. Also I can't even remember how many AFCC in that time. 6, or 7. I'm 2 lazy 2 go look.

 

But Steelers fans aren't spoiled, no siree. They demand, and expect, perfection.

I thought Schefter tweeted that Flores wanted Herbert.

 

Flores did have a winning record the last two seasons.

 

Schefter tweeted on draft day that Aaron Rodgers wouldn't come back to the Packers. I don't know what he said about Flores and Herbert- wouldn't trust it though.

 

Flores was in a struggle with his own staff and QB. That is the bigger issue. He went through 4 offensive coordinators and 2 defensive coordinators in 3 seasons.

The ownership did exactly what the Steelers should be doing now. The Dolphins got the 5th pick as a result of what you are calling a mistake. If they draft Justin Herbert (whose pro day was ignored by Brian Flores who was "desperate to draft him" ; but Flores showed up the following year for Penei Sewell) everyone is calling them geniuses.

 

Video showing everyone thought Tua would be better than Herbert. That includes Flores who didn't even bother showing up to Herbert's pro day.

 

I think if it were up to Aaron he would've been traded last yr but he had no leverage.

 

I heard that one of their last games they were getting run and he went on a ballistic rant at halftime and cussed out Tua and told him he should have drafted Mac Jones lol this is probably what got him fired.

 

Honestly I was totally against Tua. You can go back and look. It was his slow decision making that let 2 most of his injuries. I can see this maybe in a lesser school, but coming out of Bama decision should be easier. I also hyped Herbert after the Senior bowl ,and combine. He looked a Man amongst children compared 2 the other Qbs that played that day.

 

Well obviouly you weren't fooled. The consensus was that Tua was the pick other than injury concerns. And if you were a head coach you would've gone to Herbert's pro day. You don't view a player as a franchise player and then not even show up in person.
