Drew Brees thru 15 passes to Running Back Darrin Sproles out of the back field, some being screen passes. Sets new record for completions to a running back.

Brady throws 6 TD's in playoff game for new TD record, 4 in the first half, 3 TD's to TE Gronkowski, uses TE Hernandez as a running back with 5 carries for 61 yards and a 12.2 yard average. Suprised Denver, they thought he was back their as a blocker.

Whats up with those OC's/ Is this something new?

Was BA watching those games? You think he might have learn anything? I don't think so!!!! He didn't improve the Steelers offense as predicted and advertised in the pre-season. They said that they would be able to outscore most opponents because of our great receiving corps.

    WHAT HAPPENED!!

Why as Steelers fans are we at home watching the playoffs as these teams set offensive records? The Steelers get a 4000+ yard passing QB, 2 1000 yard receivers, almost a 1000 yard rusher and we get beat by an inferior team in the playoffs that gets killed on a national stage by a team who's defense was one of the worst defenses in the league this year, whom we beat.

    Whats up with that?

It's still hard to believe that the Chargers let Sproles get away. The aren't many LB's in the league that can check that guy.

If you live here, it's not hard to believe at all! That's what the Chokers do. develop a really good player and let him go to another team. Through a trade or, more likely, for nothing: see Drew Brees, Tomlinson, Rodney Harrison, Seau, John Carney are names that come to mind recently. Past "trades" involve 4 players who went on to play on the 9er S.B. teams and Lance Alworth!
What's hard to believe is that they keep any players at all.

Ben can throw 6 td's. It might take him 8 games though.

I remember when Ron Ernhart use to line up Ernie Mills in the backfield and throw to him when he came out.

You were the receivers back then. Yancey Phipen, Ernie Mills, i forget the rest but that receiving corp reminds me of this one.

Wallace, Sanders, Brown is a good start but I think we need a few more like them. Just imagine lining Brown in the backfield. He might draw coverage from a linebacker or safety and that's a match up that we will win every day.

Time for Tyler Grishom to come around. If he could be a "wes walker" type with the other three and Heath Miller. we could do some damage.

    Oh I forgot.....we still have Bruce Arians.....Nevermind.

A lot of these stats fall upon the particular QB. Ben will NEVER complete 15 passes to a RB, heck, he won't even have 15 attempts to RB's. No matter what system he's in he'll always look for the big play downfield rather than use the checkdowns. Unless the OC scripts 15 screens, Ben will never come close to that mark.

6 TD's, however, is attainable, especially if they upgrade the OL in th eoffseason and BA gets his head out of his ass in the Red Zone.

    How soon do we forget?
Week #5 of this season vs the Titans, Ben threw for 5 TDs and 1 INT. He also threw for 5 TDs and 0 INTs in a game back in week #9 of 2007 vs the Ravens.

His 5 TDs in one game(twice) is tied for the team record for most TDs in a single game.
