Maybe Boykin really sucks that bad... maybe that's why he hasn't seen the field?

To be fair, when you are are a .500 team, whipping boys are plentiful.

    Yeah, I tend to agree.

The cushion is there because it's premised on what the d-line do. When they do what they're meant to, I don't noticed the CBs so much.

I don't know... I thought our corners, really all of our DBs, played a really nice game Sunday. Are they great? No. However the young guys are definitely showing that they can (usually) play, especially Cockrell who has been a big surprise - and a keeper IMO.

Edit - I'm also going to give props to Golden, who I had given up on as a defensive player. He has been pretty solid, and did a nice job Sunday.

Agree with you on Cockrell and Golden. Especially Golden, he has been a pleasant surprise.

I agree with both you and Elvis. Cockrell is a keeper for sure, and I had written Golden off as a special teams only kinda guy. He's been very solid.

Should have tried to trade Cortez , he was never worth the contract he was given . Cortez has cost this Team big time . The Team believed in him and didn't press the draft for DB'S the way they should have and now we have to pay for putting stock in a guy we never should have....Who knows how many years this has set this Team back...
