I'm starting to dislike this man. I wasn't born during his playing years or maybe I would think different.

Montana didn't stay all warm and fuzzy with SF did he? Although he did go play for another team in his career he is still thought of as the 9ers qb. I loved him when he played for both teams but didn't he kinda have some issues with the 9ers mgmt in the end? Maybe I was just thinking that. I was thinking that him and Young had problems.

Yeah but he isn't harboring a grudge years later. Hell even Favre and the Packers kissed and made up.

As I recall, he and Young didn't get along.

Yeah it's really sad that TB harbors that much animosity toward the Steelers now. I'm still absolutely glad that he was our qb though and think Steeler history would be a crap ton different without him.

He's always been kinda looney. I think he likes the attention. Don't think the Steelers care what he says.

I don't care who hands it to who just as long as it ends up next to the other 6 at Heinz Field.:)

Wow, after all these years, I thought that this bitterness was squashed. For years Bradshaw had distanced himself from the steelers because he was released earlier then he thought he should have by coach Noll. He's an louanna boy so I can see why he would root for saints, but come on Bradshaw... You can't bad mouth a team that made you!

Not sure if he harbors the animosity towards the Steelers or towards the city of Pittsburgh. Plenty of players who played in Pittsburgh are hit and miss by the residents of the city. I've said it before many still think Mario lied to them about moving the Penguins and that is after two more cup wins.

Well, Cowher, whose players Tomlin is still winning with, talked about wanting to hand Mr Rooney the Lombardi trophy. If you watch it, I have the DVD, they give it to Dan Rooney. Then Cowher gets it, and says he's been waiting a long time to hand it to Mr Rooney, and awkwardly hands it back to him.

Here's a good rule on Bradshaw-

never listen to a single word he says, because there has never been any consistency to this man.

Link or it didn't happen :lolol:

Thats probably what I am remembering but he indicated in the link that he hands him the trophy:

If ‘great’ is the word that you’re looking for and I present them the trophy, I promise it will be tongue‑in‑cheek, and you’ll pick up on it: ‘Mike Tomlin, congratulations. You’re a great coach. You just won your second Super Bowl. What do you think? Are we buddies now?’ I don’t think so but, you know ‑‑ maybe I would.”

But when I googled it, a former player walks it out, and then its actually Goodel who hands it to the owner and then the owner hands it to the coach. So, I don't know at what point Terry hands anything to anyone, maybe he just means interviews them.

That would be all kinds of awkward if Bradshaw had to be on stage with the coach and players at the SB, I bet some would give him the cold shoulder.

I'm not worked up over what Bradshaw has to say. If I was blessed to play professional sports whoever I played for, I'm still a Pittsburgh fan by heart

TB never got over what he described as head games played by Noll early in his career. He was benched and replaced by both Hanratty and Gilliam. He won 4 Super Bowls but was never really the THE face of the franchise. The final straw was how his elbow injury was handled. He was given cortisone shots before every game just to get through the 1982 season and then had surgery in the offseason. He was pressured to return in a late season game against the jets they needed to win to make the playoffs. He led them to victory but blew out the elbow late in the game. He never played again. In his mind he probably felt used and discarded.

Yes, but one of them is LS Greg Warren. He is the common thread to both coaches' success!

The roids thing was more Haslett than anyone else. The drugs were introduced to the NFL in 1962 by a Chargers strength coach but Haslett obviously did not read much.
