What the actual F is Boykin doing on this team? He is out there on the field as a WR but you damn well know they are never targeting him. Wonder why he never gets targeted. Does he really. suck that badly. Zero plays have been designed for him that I can see.

Guy caught 2 balls and you are complaining;) I think he was like a second round pick for the Ravens?? Pretty sure they never really used him so my guess he is a cheap hit toward salary cap???????

He’s a very good special teams guy and a good blocker when he gets on the field with the offense.

Steelers definitely need a starting WR that's a real veteran presence. Boykin definitely isn't that guy. He seems like a nice ST hand at least, but feels like someone we can and should move on from.

Just a decent utility player, he’s not here to light it up like randy moss.

He is not even lighting it up like Randy from the Trailer Park Boys let alone Randy Moss.

It will take a few more years(games) before Kenny starts getting all the way down the receiver chart.

Hit it on the head with this one. He's usually out there on the short yardage and QB sneaks pushing Kenny. Plus when he was down a few games on ST, you saw some longer returns. He's one of the gunners and usually does a great job in that role.

He is there for special teams, but they do need to throw an occasional pass his way. If not, they might as well use an extra tight end. Then again, he may be a better blocker than Heyward.

Hey, I’ve seen him push Kenny ahead for first downs on a couple of quarterback sneaks this season.

$2,754.232 his hit for this season. UFA after the season. Think he is worth bringing back?

    Um..

Miles Boykin is still on this as he is arguably the best Special Teams player on the team overall.

I saw him do that and was afraid he would be flagged

Are you allowed to do that now

Years past you could not like when the Fridge tossed Sweetness into the end zone

yes, you can push and carry "forward" but you are not allowed to pull or carry someone when you are in front of them. also they do not throw flags on people who pull, they just spot it where they started, I believe.

Yes, what he brings to ST is worth it. He may not come back though, he wants to play snaps on offense. He only signed because he saw a chance this year.

Good special teams guy gets down and tackles...

Be nice to see him become like Hey-Bey 2.0... but he doesn't seem to bring much to the table with his WR ability he doesn't see the field much.

But, its hard for him to see the field much Steelers aren't running too many formations with their style of play that lets him see the field on offense.

Hey-bey was at least a burner. didn't catch much on his deep balls, but he made them have to cover it.
