If the Steelers don’t like he saying this, go out and play better.

Sure looked that way and sounds that way. When the head coach says we were out of bullets. Pitiful we have fallen this far as a franchise.

That's BS, this fool getting cocky because the Bengals finally don't suck, since when does dropping three passes at the end mean you quit?

Well, a Bengal is going to know a thing or two about quitting, so he is providing an observation based on experience.

Yep. Still remember Houza-where-is -he -now, Bengals wideout, cleaning his shoes with a terrible towel after a regular season win. Steelers came back next game and put them in their place. But the times they are a-changing.....

Those 3 lazy drops on the Steelers last 3 plays certainly has all the signs of players quitting.

I didn't see them as lazy drops though. All 3 could be seen as trying to do too much before you secured the catch. They knew they had to make something happen for a miracle win.

I have never heard a coach say We fired all our bullets we had nothing left. That's a first. I'm not sure what to make of that statement. It sounds like giving up to me.

I don't want to speak for Boyd nor appear that I am. We got to remember that he grew up a Steelers fan, likely deep at heart still is a Steelers fan and will be one once his career is over. He's probably speaking as much as a fan as he is an opposing player. I can understand how fans and even Stillas players take it the wrong way. It is what it is ya know.

It's a 1st for me too. It's embarrassing. A coach should never run out of bullets to fire. If he did, he needs to be fired

They probably have and are tired of the offense sitting on the pot but won't chit. Why play hard when management has made a decision to play an inept Ben when everybody know he's done? Doing the same thing and expecting a different result is insanity.

At this point The Steelers have caps in the gun. Caps against Bullets will lose every time.

Especially when the previous week he shot one into DJ's knee when the game was over.

That sounds like he is trying not to lay blame at Ben or Canada’s feet.

Tomlin's bullets are on the bench injured. Ben is firing blanks, receivers need a new wr coach, oline plays like rookies.

I wish MT would quit and take Ben and his entire coaching staff with him. Probably the only way of salvaging the schedule.

The receivers are probably tired of getting killed on all of Bens passes lately.

Couldn't agree more. All I can do is shake my head at that and hope to GOD that he meant it a different way than it came out but.....

Ben looking like Sam Darnold 2 years ago while standing on the sideline was a fair indication as well. Wonder how many ghosts he saw.
