Bowl Prospects

    Just wanted to make a generic thread regarding any interesting prospects anybody sees in a bowl game that could be valuable for the scouting process.

    Anyone follow Chaunceu Gardner-Johnson from Florida? He's 6'0 205.

    He's a safety prospect but might be more of a slot CB/S. He just made an outstanding play though. He can cover alot of ground. Very instinctual. Keep an eye on him. Maybe more of a 2nd round pick?

    Here's the play:



    Now he made the play out of the slot but this is the type of FS play I want to see in our secondary. His diagnosis, athletic ability and playmaking skills are all on display.

    The corner from virginia. The de/on from tucky. Anybody off of Clemson front. The OLB'ers from bama. (Don't even know if any are in the draft). The RT from oklahoma. edwards from wisc.. The other LB from wisc.. The punter from ND. The kicker from okla..:cool:

    Yesterday was a major disappointment as far as quality enjoyable games. Michigan, ND and Oklahoma (1st quarter) didn't bother to show up.

    Isaiah Simmons from Clemson is someone that might be intriguing. Don't know if he's coming out or is even eligible. Size,speed and ball skills. Safety converted to LB 6'3 230lbs wiry with room to grow. Will be tested against Bama. Will be keeping a eye out for him.

    Isaiah might not but Tre Lamar is. HWS 'backer. I would consider him as well. Gremaine Pratt and Bryce Hall are still my personal options though. Those two will be really good players.


    Might add Troy Dye to the list as well.

    I love how he doesn’t act all stupid after he makes the play, like it’s no big deal, “I’ve done this before”. That was a good instinctual play.
