    * E.J. Manuel comes off the board much earlier than expected. I'm saying mid-first round.

    * Tank Carradine goes in top 15.

    * Steelers pass on Jarvis Jones (if he's there).

    * San Fran makes a move like the Falcons did for Julio Jones, jumping into the top 10 (for a DL).

    * Tim Tebow gets traded during the draft.

    * Jets fans don't boo either of the Jets' first round picks.

Geno slips to 17 and the Steelers can't resist the BPA at that point.

Now I know you're dreaming.

I'll say St. Louis will trade away Washington's 1st round pick (RG3) so they can have 3 picks in the first round next year.

I was actually going to make a thread today suggesting that if we do take a QB, it should be Manuel but his stock seems to be rising rapidly and I don't see us picking a QB early no matter who it is.

As for predictions, Steelers draft Te'o in the first.

My prediction is we move down in a trade to around 24-28. In the process we will get back a #1 and add a 2nd and a 3rd, but trade away our 4th or 5th.

Why would we do this? We have about 25 roster positions open. I see about 5 of those being filled by UFAs who have played for us in the past like Starks or Legursky or maybe someone like Bradshaw should we be able to afford him. This moves us to 10 draft picks. Add in another 10 UDFAs and you get to 25. I honestly don't think there is anyone so good to be at 17 that wouldn't have a comparable player available at 26.

This isn't from me, it's from CBS, but being a fan of the Big Ten, it just doesn't sit right......

I predict that picks 1-3 are all offensive tackles. The 3rd tackle will be Lane Johnson, and he will be picked by a team that trades up to the Raiders' spot at #3 because they expect that the Eagles would grab him at #4 if they don't trade up.

I predict that the Vikings take a player at #23 (or package #23 with a 3rd rounder to move up), and find a partner to trade down from #25 all the way out of the 1st round, instead of using 2 first round picks.

I predict that John Simon, Barrett Jones and Chase Thomas, all of whom are ranked #100+ on the CBS draft site, all go by pick #75.

I predict that the Saints take either Kenny Vaccaro or Jarvis Jones, and we take the guy out of those 2 that they don't take.

Keenan Allen Falls to us in the 2nd and Leveon Bell falls to us in the 4th. We draft Cooper or Warmack in the 1st. Maybe I should just do a mock

It's funny, when I made my 1st prediction - that picks 1-3 would be OTs, and that the #3 pick will be Lane Johnson going to someone in a trade-up scenario, I was just going by what made sense. Now today I'm hearing that the Raiders are fielding phone calls like crazy for the 3rd pick. I am also hearing that they don't want to move out of the top 10 because they want Floyd. The big question is who makes the trade, and what does it cost? I'm guessing that it's the Cards, but I am not going to go so far as to make the Cards a bold prediction.

I am a bit concerned about my Steeler prediction - I had said that the Saints would take either Vaccaro or Jarvis Jones, and we would take the guy out of those 2 that we do not. Now I am thinking that, if they don't take Vaccaro, that Vaccaro goes to the Rams at #16. In fact, the more I think about it, the more I think that it's a near lock that Vaccaro is a Ram if he makes it to #16. So, my new bold prediction is Jarvis Jones at #15 to the Saints, Vaccaro at #16 to the Rams, and a lot of teeth gnashing by Steeler fans (including me).
