    Name brand recognition? LOL!

I think our high rank is explained by there are only 4 teams playing at a high level this year.

You nailed it . After the top 4, it's a mess of teams that could win it all if they get hot or could miss the playoffs entirely . There's just no consistency after the top 4 .

We can hang with any of them if we play well. The question is whether we'll play well or not when the time comes

Who are the four? The Rams, Patriots and Chiefs are there. Would the Saints be the fourth? It can't be the Ravens with consecutive losses, including one against the Saints, though Baltimore should definitely be ranked ahead of Pittsburgh right now.

(Yeah, I see the standings. It is half a game and the Baltimore won in Pittsburgh already.)

I wonder what adding a Top 3 corner would put us. Guess we will never know so we can draft another Dupree or Jones.

I don’t think you would survive the type of season it requires to draft a top 3 corner.

None of us would. That's why you trade for one.

Except there isn’t one to trade for.

Sad thing is the 27 below us would have us sweating balls with two minutes to go if we played them.

Have to admit Ratbirds should be above us. They barely lost to the Saints and they beat us. I hear tell about the Chargers being good, but I hear that almost every year. Don`t know about Vikes.
