Blinking Lights

Anyone else notice the blinking lights in the stands during the Browns game before kickoff? The lights appeared to be cell phone lights, but they were blinking in unison. I couldn't figure out any particular pattern, and not all of the sources were blinking together, but many of them had the same cadence. I thought maybe there was some sort of pregame aspect of the Steeler App or something. They didn't pass out any gadgets on the way in (that I noticed) that would explain the phenomenon. ???? Maybe I'm seeing things.
