Who gets canned? Know the Raiders and Jacksonville will be looking, Denver fired their coach on Sunday, and the Bears, Jets, Giants, Texans, and Vikings are all teams that could use some new leadership.

 

Raiders are thinking of other things this morning.

Only reason I can think is they have someone already in the wings for the job they really want. Doesn't mean it's a good idea, but that's what I'm thinking.

I agree. Beeyotchia or however the hell his name is spelled has earned a shot. He has stepped in and provided leadership by earning his men's respect. At least that's what it looks like from here.

Well, if the other hairball wants to make the move to NFL again, now would be the time to do it. His stock is high and he finally got big blue back into the national championship conversation and finally beat Ohio st. The opportunity could dry up if he doesn't maintain the progress and momentum at MI.

 

Hairball is being linked to a lot of teams by a lot of people, with sources saying this and other sources saying that. I agree, KVS, that if he jumps, now is the time. Just where does he jump to? The Raiders, who just made the playoffs after a season of off-the-field disasters under an interim coach? Miami, who if the Ravens had won yesterday would be in the playoffs, after starting 1-7? Minnesota? Da Bears? Denver?

 

Steelers should promote him to be our OC. He already got us into the playoffs once.

Just came on to say that. Maybe the most tone-deaf coach in the league once Jacksonville's coach was fired.
And you may complain about play calling for the Steelers, but two qb sneaks from the 5 on 2nd and 3rd and long, while way behind, and out of victory formation? How drunk do you have to be?

Oh maybe that's what Aaron Rodgers was referencing on McAfee? He said nothing would piss him off more than not kicking a FG to win a game because of the risk of a blocked kick except an OC calling a QB sneak on 3 and 9.

Didn't see Rogers quote, but I think Gettleman's "retirement" had more to do with it.
