With Pouncey still out, I guess we'll see a combination of Hubbard, Kyle Friend and Lucas Crowley.

 

might be time to give hubbard less preseason reps.

 

Hopefully it's minor. Losing Finney will hurt.

What are we doing wrong? Patriots have been doing joint practices against the Texans and like no injuries and here we are beating our own teammates up.

 

The Patriots are practice ritual sacrifice and worship the old gods. It dark magic that prevents them from getting hurt.

 

Cheats are just doing their due diligence and gaining some "Intel" after the little scare the Texans put in them with no QB.....it's easier to avoid injury when you know what's coming next...

 

In fact, the Pats had an OL guy injured in that practice.

The last report I saw Pats had five players listed as questionable, same number as us.

That was before Finley went down, though, and the NE guys were fairly low down the depth chart. Not like Denver... there's an injury list...

 

Pats smarter than us on this front as well.

 

I do think they are doing something. Is any other team been doing joint practices for like a week? Not to mention they play them this year so not sure how this is allowed. Belichick knows a good DL is the key to beating them and Texans have one of the best in the league. He's not just doing this on whim. He's doing something.

 

That guy does NOTHING on a whim. Every move is planned and well executed.

Another underdog I was really impressed with at last year's combine was Ethan Cooper. Haven't heard much on his progress. Hope he shows enough to be on the PS. So fluid in the drills. Big step up in competition from IUP though.

 

Yeah me as well loved it when I saw that video when Finney announced he signed with the Steelers. Hope he is good and gets back on the field.

interesting that feiler was getting reps with first team at LG though. this may be something to watch come game time. could they be leaning towards keeping him this year? would hawkins go to the PS instead? would we keep an extra lineman? since feiler doesn't have PS eligibility why give him the reps over a guy that does?

 

I live in Western Pa, this has not been a hot summer, nor has camp been that hot.
