According to ESPN, Pickett set an NFL record (most likely one of many to come) for attempting the most passes (13) without any hitting the ground (10 completions and 3 interceptions).

Pittsburgh Dad attributed the first two interceptions to surprise on the part of the receivers that the ball was thrown and hit their hands, without having to make extreme contortions. I thought that both Claypool and Muth had a good shot at those, even though the passes were not perfect (same for Mitch's interception to Johnson). You'd think at least one of those would be a spectacular catch, and a bit unlucky all three fell into the hands of a defender.

I drafted Pickett in my fantasy league on a whim as a backup. Think I should start him?

Pickett was also the first QB in the Superbowl era (1967) to run for multiple TD's in their first NFL game. He now has 2 NFL records despite only playing one half of football so far.
