Holmes dropped the first perfect pass by Ben of first down. Then Ben had to make another perfect throw on second down to win the game.

I guess that just slipped your mind, huh?. That's a disingenuous comment, because if you know football as well as you claim, you know what I'm saying is beyond a doubt correct about that last drive.

Dude, you're grasping at straws here to try to prove a great quarterback wasn't great. It isn't working.

One of the best if not best game winning SB drive I ever saw. Starting with the very first play back around their 10 yard line and Ben had to evade a sack to find Holmes to start that drive off on the right foot.

Ben should have won mvp honors, any other QB would have. I fully believe his off field issues kept him from winning it. NFL didnt want that bad PR.

He's trying to make it sound like Holmes bailed Ben out when it was the other way around. Holmes had the perfect pass go through his hands on the opposite side of the endzone on first down that should have been the game-winning throw and catch. Holmes dropped it, so Ben had to make an insane throw on second down to complete the game-winning touchdown pass. Holmes doesn't get credit for dropping the first one, which was a much easier catch.

I don't understand why people are acting like they didn't watch the game and see it with their own eyes.

I'm trying to be polite here, but to not acknowledge what I just stated here is either someone not understanding the game, or they are making it up to try to be right about something they are getting completely wrong.

Larry Fitzgerald did score the previous Steelers possession.

No reason to assume Larry Fitzgerald could have done so again. Dude was unstoppable. How many forget his Playoff Run that season.

It was one of the greatest ever in League History. Having Kurt Warner helped a great deal but Larry Fitzgerald in that Super Bowl nearly won it for them.

    Agreed on the second.

Santonio deserved that MVP. He bailed out that Offense in the final drive a great deal and was doing damage all game long. Without him, Pittsburgh likely doesn't win Super Bowl XLIII for there wasn't a Wideout who would be capable of making that catch.
