I think it is smart football IF you have the offensive personnel AND you use when the FP doesn't become an advantage for your opponent. However, I think meatheads like Dan Cambell use it far more often because his ego is apparently larger than his nut sack.

THe Bills are lucky on this,because it was such a awful decision to punt in this situation....If they had decided to go on fourth down and convert it,they would the chance to be up 17-7 but instead the jaguars had a good chance to have a 10-10 game

 

I should clarify, I love watching the other 31 teams do it.

 

The Bills were lucky that the jaguars kicker miss his FG...If they would convert it,the bills would have a chance to be up 17-7 or 13-7 at least inteast,it was almost 10-10...In the playoffs you need to play to win

I hate it man. JMO. If You are in field goal range, take the 3. Otherwise punt it. Now of course if You have to have it at the end of the game, of course go for it, but I have watched for the last 3 years so many teams lose because of the failures of 4th down, and then you are constantly chasing the 3 you didn't take. JMO.
I do know this for a fact. Nothing is more demoralizing than to March the field, and get nothing.

I don't know it's going to be tough to win 3 road playoff games in a row.

 

The kicker of the Jaguars just missing the FG even if he is one of the best in the league....A FG is not always a guarenteed....

Going for it on fourth down fails way more than it works. Especially in the playoffs, almost every game comes down to the end. Passing up a sure 3 points and getting nothing will burn you big time.
