lol, I'm so tired of reading the FBA crap. Almost makes me not even want to check out the message board. Josh McDaniels is getting inteviews, the RAMS had 2 wins. I'll take 12 wins with the coaching staff we have any day of the week. Yes he could do better. But if this team did not win 4 superbowls in the 1970's people would be stoked to have a two time superbowl champion team to root for. Yet, because they can do math and add up the Steelers superbowl wins all of a sudden there is a standard that no one can meet. There were times during this season where people were calling out the defense coaches, and yet the team finishes the season with the number 1 defense. What more do you want? The 1972 Dolphins were perfect in their record, but it's debateable where they are versus the all time great teams. Perfection is hard to come by. This offense does underperform, some of that responsibility rests with the players, some with the coaches, some with the front office. Put the three together and they are better, from one year to the next, than the majority of the other 31 teams.

As for the PSU coach, I can't help but be dissapointed as well. They are taking a guy who has spent 1 year as a coordinator and replacing a legend. Then again, Tomlin was only a coordinator for 1 year. Cowher wasn't all that experienced either. Maybe, they are following in the footsteps of the Rooneys. Only time will tell.

 

Absolutely hate O'Brien hiring. Comes from a cheating organization who's coordinators constantly fail at head positions i.e. McDaniels, Weis, Crennel, Mangini. They are not good coaches but products of a cheating system.

 

Have to agree they haven't had success. So if it isn't them, then it is the genius. Of course the reason he's a genius is because he cheats.
