So, just was curious as to what peoples responses were for this question..

Who does everyone think will be a surprise (either good or bad) in the playoffs

Offensively- I believe Hamilton or Rogers will continue to contribute and be a difference maker
Defensively- I'm thinking that Tuitt and Davis will have a big playoff "season" for us!

offense- think Ayers has a coming out party.
defense- the "experts" will stop saying the steelers have no secondary.

superstition creeps in on me when commenting on the Steelers in the playoffs so I'll broaden it to the NFL :lolol:

Bad - Can't believe Detroit got in and think they'll get owned in the playoffs
Good - Giants beat the Packers in a crazy good game

At least the Lions have a decent QB. Texans vs raiders will be cook vs osweiler. First one to 10 pts wins!

Osweiler goes crazy and beats the Raiders and the Pats ...
DHB has a 100 yard playoff game on the way to the big game...
GB smokes the NFC and wins every game by 10 plus...

I too think that GB will win the NFC.. Truly think that once GB beats Giants, it will be a shootout vs Dallas.. The winner of that game wins the NFC.. Atlanta reminds me of Cincy and choking in playoffs so I never trust them..

Oakland will beat Houston though 23-13.. Since Cooks looks like he is going to play for them, I think Murray has a big game against a pretty good Houston D..

Detroit and Miami are pretty big surprises..... I'm not sure they've had 5 combined appearances since 2000.

My postseason surprise is that we control the game in Foxboro from start to finish like the Jets did back in the 2010/11 playoff game, and book a spot in Houston.

The spread on that game is -9... I don't think 9 points will even be scored, lol.

Rematch of Super Bowl XLV... Two hottest teams in the NFL. Both have big win streaks.

Wow that looks good to bet on. Only way the texans cover is if cook is so bad that he sets the texans up with good field position multiple times.

No big thing but you might want to double check the spread on the Houston game. I think Houston is favorite by 3.5 points,

I think people are sleeping on how good Houston is defensively along with having a top 10 rushing game... That's a pretty strong recipe for success in the post season. Yea, Osweiler looks scared ****less most of the time... but, stranger things have happened.

Everyone forgets that Brock Osweiler beat the Pats last year... and yes, the Pats spanked Houston this year... with Jacoby Brissett

Is his look really scared ****less, or is it "**** it, I'm rich?"

Maybe they'll get their starter, Savage, back for the Pats. Is it ok to call him the starter? ;)

If Houston beats New England, we will truly be in Bizzaro World.

This could happen. They just need to keep Bell away from his "blunt" buddy Blount before the game!

Biggest surprise #1 - Giants beat Green Bay
Biggest surprise #2 - A team wins the Texans/Raiders matchup. I expect a team to lose it through a pick six, fumble for touchdown, special teams blunder, T. Pryor type run / Tebow type throw.

Steelers getting #7 should be expected and anticipated, not a surprise

Steelers surprise: I'll call an Artie Burns pick 6, and a major controbution form Ayers at some point. Could be as little as a big conversion or as big as a break out 100 yard and a TD game.

Defense leads the way to a big time matchup in Foxboro.

NFL surprise: Matty Ryan, Julio Jones, and the two headed beast of Freeman and Coleman lead the Falcons to the Super Bowl. There's a lot to like about Atlanta this year.

Raiders/Texans game becomes the best (most competitive) game of wild card weekend. Steelers, Packers, and Seahawks win big.
