For me, it’s not being able to run the ball effectively with the caliber of offensive linemen we have on this roster.

When people say “Steelers Football” part of that means being dominant and tone setting in the run game. So far they haven’t lived up to that.

    Disappointing.

Randy Fitchner. Not even close. It is clear at present that he is in over his head. Even more concerning, in over his head without Big Ben.

Honorable mention?! Terrell Edmunds. One turnover would not hurt at all to start out with. I get he is still relatively new to the position but at some point, he has to step it up as Minkah cannot do it all by himself. Hopefully though, with Minkah, those turnovers and impact plays will come for Terrell.

For me, it was being under prepared, out coached, and flat out embarrassed by the pats on opening night. It was like Tomlin had no idea that we were going to play them. Come on Redskins, make us an offer we can't refuse to get Tomlin

The offense not being able to capitalize on the turnovers and turn them into touchdowns.

The offensive line. What was once a strength of this team seems to be average at best now.

Nothing really. This team has been trending downward for multiple seasons now. Same coach, same coordinators, why expect anything different. Plus, with the loss of AB, I knew it was going to nosedive (and stated so at the time). It's a rebuild (Pittsburgh Steelers style), like it or not.

Tomlin's gut feeling on just about everything. (Especially the 4 & 1 fieldgoal at the goal-line down by 21)

    Moncrief, we needed him.

    Th
They need Nix back there to block for Conner. It’s ridiculous that they chose to ignore a position that’s so critical for a group of young running backs

The OL. Advertised as best in the league, can't get a 3rd-1 to save their lives. The gimmick wildcat was made necessary due to their inability to run block.

Being embarrassed by NE to the point they looked like they layed off in the fourth quarter. I would have rather lost 53 to 3 than to have NE pity us by running the ball and eating the clock.

A lack of any semblance of a running game and still rolling out the same 5 OL game after game, someone is not doing their job, figure out who it is and make a change.

A site I just looked at had Pitt at +16000 to win the SB. So 160 to 1.

I don't know that I'd call it a disappointment but I wonder how things would play out in some of these close games if the steelers had a 10 point lead in most of these games. I mean the Ravens chewed up clock possession after possession when they had the lead. If the Ninety game they had coverted 3 of those turnovers to td's and the other 2 to field goals what would that have forced the Niners offense to do. We want to sit here and discuss whether the offense blew or the defense didn't hold but really the complexion of those games changes if the opponents are behind versus playing with the lead.

I’m disappointed Real Steel isn’t posting. Though I suppose we have to win before we can have a thread saying “this win means nothing...”

I think my main disappointment is with the o-line. They should be the rock all else springs from. They’re not hit with injuries, and there’s only been one change in the line up. I refuse to accept losing Munchak is the sole reason for their play - they’re just not performing as well as they can.

Running game and Offensive Line without a doubt, although I think a lot of the issue is teams stacking the box knowing there is no deep threat that can consistently beat the coverage.

Moncrief was signed partly to be that deep threat and he has been a disappointment too, and that’s being very kind.
