I dont know. I think Id like for him to have a tune up game under his belt for the Cincy game.

The docs wont clear him to play if its not healed.

he doesn't need a tuneup game We're talking Ben here.:smiley1:
I initially was hoping the Chiefs game would be his return, he has to be healed tho
Ben being pressured, taking hits ,and Berry pickin.
Aye dios mio, just do not want to see the debacle repeated like a few yrs back Chiefs game to 49r game.

No he's not, and we've seen that before. We need Ben at 100%. Bring him back too early and he's at risk of injuring it again, plus he becomes a statue back there and the defence will just tee off on him.

I'm sure they won't rush Ben back but he will probably be back a lot sooner that they initially anticipated which is great news.

He can't come back soon enough! 100%? Then put him on IR now. He will be dealing with the bone bruise possibly for the rest of the season. It's the MCL sprain that needs to heal for stability. 100% :lolol:

This. If people are wanting an extra week or two to get him 100% they're kidding themselves. When the doc says he's good to go that's when it's right.

I'm only jealous of the Ravens kicker.
what I posted has happened before, it's really not that difficult to comprehend Glenn.
Get some coffee and wake up.
Ben has missed a lot of Ravens games and he has also returned before he ACTUALLY should have
Hell just reference the playoff game from last year

He was good to go during the San Francisco game too, how did that work out? Medically cleared is different than able to play. If the pain is such that he can't plant his leg or move to avoid pressure, he's going to hurt as much as Vick would, if not more, and believe me, there's few that hate Vick as much as I do

Ben is playing much better football then he ever has. He gets the ball out quickly and Im sure theyd rely on that even more heavily. I doubt they put him in many positions to throw the deep ball.

A hobbled Ben isnt going to be worse than what Vick did Thursday night. Sure, Vick didnt turn the ball over which is about the only way Ben could play worse but Vick will turn the ball over soon enough, its a certainty. So, I see very little reason not to play Ben.

When we say he is cleared to play, we are referring to the fact that it is healed and in no danger of being re-injured just from moving around on it.

    again we're talking about Ben
too many times he played before it was time
no need to go through the entire career listing of them
    I know you know

I just have doubt in our staff(everybody) and of course Ben trying to be Ben. the risk outweighs the reward

Whats the risk? If its not at risk to be re-injured simply from using it, then I see no reason not to play him. Take my chances with him.

Ok, so when the Dr. (Or whoever decides that) decides that he's able to play then he should play.
