The guy is still great for how long? The O-line has been garbage for years. Their run game has gone down the toilet. They have the most overrated set of wr's who play the same way and are all short. Heath miller seems to be dropping a lot of balls and even his blocking was horrid the last few games. AB has been way overrated on this board and dropped Two key passes at crucial times that cost us points in the fourth qtr. and let's not start with Haley and the pathetic coaching staff. Tomlin is a complete mannequin. Haley I hate you! Arians keep up the good work in zona maybe you can convince the organization to get Ben back because you're 4-4 with Palmer as your qb congrats!!

oh yeah and pittsburgh fans are always eager to jump on your d!ck Ben when you have a bad game. Demand the trade Ben and save the rest of your career.

I'll bet he won't ... all NFL player's medical records go on-line next year (the Steelers and 7 other teams are going on-line this year).

The Cards will be lucky if they go 8-8, their Oline is as pitiful as ours, sending ben to zona wouldn't be doing him a favor, check out how many times Palmer has been sacked and strip sacked this season........

Using Palmer as an example is horrible. He is a statue in the pocket. The only reason Ben could consider Arizona would be BA. That is it.

Look at the teams which are successful....and the ones who are not....the QB makes the largest difference. We have to at least consider whether Ben is part of the problem. I'm not saying he is, but he is the most consistent thing in our offense...in that every other piece has changed and yet....we still suck.

I'd agree with that, or at least follow that train of logic, except...when did we suck? All I can remember are consistent seasons of playoff contention, or close to it. I'm not trying to be a smart aleck or defend anyone on this losing team either. There are plenty of problems and no one is free from blame, that's for sure.

It's not just Pittsburgh fans. Hotel workers in Reno and college students in Georgia have been known to be guilty of this as well...

Our offense hasn't been stellar in years. Yes, we made the playoffs, but it wasn't from domination on the offensive side of the ball.

Agreed, although Ben is pretty far down on the list of blame. His 5 turnover game or however many it was was terrible but he's been pretty good otherwise.

If you say so. Look at the throws the guy is making. Many of them are high or behind the receiver. He's far from low on the list. He's right at the top of the list when it comes to our offensive woes. He's the QB, he makes our offence go or not go, and for as long as he's been here, we've been inconsistent at best. When does Ben stop getting a free pass for an offence that has been mediocre for a long time?

A 66.2% completion percentage (6th in the league) says you're wrong about his accuracy.

you are in serious denial. you can't absolve the QB of most of the blame when the offense stinks at producing points.

OMG! You are the one that's always jacking Ben and his play. Get it through your head BEN is a great QB with NO offensive line, no run game and a weak set of WR's. Did you even watch the game yesterday from start to finish? Haley was clearly taking the ball out of BENS hands in the third Qtr. run, run, twenty yard completion...run, run, 20 yard completion, run run, run down by three scores and chewing up 10 minutes of game clock to only miss a field goal. Sanders doesn't know how to run a pattern, Cotchery is a CFL wr and AB and heath is dropping testicals like pu$$ies. Ben isn't having an all-star season because the Steelers are not building around him. Haley could shove his wildcat plays up his aching ar$e and his dedication to run the ball when we're always trailing. JUST PUT THE BALL in Bens hands. Shaner, I know you don't like him because he's a rapist but block that out of your brain cells and admit he's the best Steelers QB ever.
