That can't be! With all the people on here that say he's average at best, he can't possibly lead the league in anything. Right?

 

I saw this today and it would rule for Ben to get this. They said on Gameday that Brees would get it. How did he play today?

So Brees went in with the lead but didn't pad it very much? Ben can definitely get the 318 but if the running game is working like it was the last time we played them I will be fine with him not getting it as long as we win.

 

Oh I thought he needed 318yds.

281(Brees' yrds today)+36=317.... 318 for the lead

 

Do people on here really say that? I don't recall reading any comments that say Ben is average. I've often said that Ben is a top tier, franchise quarterback but not elite and there may be some people that believe that unless you think Ben is elite right now then you must think he's only average.

But, the book is not fully written on Ben yet and I honestly believe he could take the step to elite status the way he's been playing. If he wins another Super Bowl and plays well along the way, I'd certainly be receptive to considering Ben as elite. I really think Haley is helping Ben in this regard. He's taking a less physical Ben and making him a more intellectual Ben. Ben is finally buying what Haley is selling and I really like the results!

That is crazy! As someone who has followed the team since the 70s, I've seen ALOT of average quarterbacks who wore the Black & Gold. Neil O'Dummy was average. Ben is the second greatest quarterback in Steeler history!
