Dri Archer has 40 career rushing yards....
24 more than Josh harris lol
40 more than me
They're roasting him! Seems like the NFL media had a story they wanted to push and grabbed anything and anyone that was willing to say something bad.
Ran with it now the folks are pushing back. I still say Ben staying away from it and letting others do the talking is a great move!
Roethlisberger is an easy target. He's the face of the franchise and right now the franchise is known for internal chaos. It makes more sense to go over Colbert for getting fleeced in the Brown deal or Tomlin for allowing the locker room chaos, but Roethlisberger is a more entertaining target.
" Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn "
Harris’ whole premise that Roethlisberger couldn’t have made a mistake because he’s a hof qb is asinine. It’s the type of argument a wannabe football analyst would make.
... says the guy who advocated using a high school 6 man front scheme in the NFL with DHB as our single high safety
I got to find that post
They were actually separate concepts, so I don't think you'll find them together.
Harris had a old Instagram photo on his account, with a practice photo of Ben handing the ball off to him, captioned with him calling Ben his leader oops. Once people started sharing it, that idiot changed the caption .
Why does God give great athletic ability to such idiots? Give it to someone with a brain.
Signed, a short, slow , grump.
Pretty sad that MIKE Pouncey of all people felt the need to get involved.
This whole allegation has stupid written all over it.
For some reason, everyone seems to be on Ben's jock strap this year.
My impression through out this has always been yes Ben us a passive aggressive pick at times but I think after the Georgia thing he really closed himself off to guys until they were really close like Heath Miller, Kiesel or Harrison. He doesn't let guys in and like Harrison is saying that can come off as being aloof or better than the others. I think he also has taken the loss of teammates and friends more personally than others would.
I think your question might be a bit of an oxymoron. I don't think it's that God gives those with extreme athletic Talent no brain. I think that those with extreme athletic Talent get left behind in everything but Athletics
I never would have guessed James Harrison would be end up being leader of the Steeler Kardashian movement.
At the end of the day, the only people's opinions that matters if Ben is a "good leader" are the people in the locker room and on the field. It's an issue with management and coaching if he isn't,
BUT the BS drama people create fill the media to take up time and give people something to watch.
Pretty funny how Harrison has become the NFL media's spokesperson on the Steelers.
The whole thing has progressed to stupid in which the players on the actual team feel they need to come out and publicly defend their QBs leadership.
