We have nothing. It’s like ok we’ll let you catch the ball and then try and tackle you.

The scheme of the defense is a shell defense with two high safeties. Our DB’s primarily play off in zone. The ILB’s basically sit like statues in the middle of the field. We try to keep the receivers in front of us and tackle the catch.

we typically only rush a four man front. It’s an extremely conservative style of defense. Tomlin is betting that with the opposing team passing so much they will eventually turn it over. It does happen but it’s risky and I hate watching it.

It feels like we play every db on our roster in some kind of sub package, and we turn over our db room every year?

Where is the consistency? Just play your top guys. Too many moving parts leads to mental gaffes.

I don’t really understand the role of ILB’s on this team anymore. I rarely see them make plays…either they aren’t good, or the Defense isn’t putting them in positions to win.

It's not even the D Line, it's just TJ and the H boys (when they are healthy).
