I still have 15 or 20 minutes left to finish episode 4, so I either missed the Steelers reference or I haven't made it to that point in the episode yet.

It was actually in the 3rd episode. Mike says it.

When Saul was talking about the people kidnapping themselves Mike says he believes him because when he was a cop in Philly there was a guy that was a bookie that took $6 million in bets on the Cowboys and Steelers Super Bowl and when things didn't go his way he skipped town with the money. I figured he was talking about Super Bowl 30. That's why I was saying I could've done without the reference. LOL.

This week's episode I think was the best one so far. I cracked up at the toilet part. I mean I REALLY cracked up. I also loved that Sovereign Citizen guy. Those people are really fascinating to me so I thought it was funny that they put that in the episode.

Yeah, the whole introduction with the really, really bad/awkward potential clients was great. And I liked getting to see a little more of Mike's backstory, even if it was just a very small bit.

I think that was his daughter and I think those cops that showed up are from Philly. I like seeing his backstory as well. I figured it would show some stuff with his granddaughter since BB made it clear that he really loved her.

Yeah, I thought that was probably his daughter and wondered if he was there to try to see his granddaughter.

I know Aaron Paul is supposed to be on the show, too, so I wonder how long until we see Jesse.

IGN did a story about it a few months ago and said that it won't be until season 2 and said there's even a possibility that Walt will be on there too. I don't know how that could really work because it was Pinkman that introduced them but that's what they said.

I figured we may see Walt at some point, but if anything, I was expecting it to be more of an Easter Egg than an outright appearance. Maybe shopping in the background or driving by when something else happens. It wouldn't make sense for him to interact with Saul, although it could be something as simple as Jesse in chemistry class.

Yeah that would make sense. I hate that we won't be able to see him and Walt onscreen together though. I just don't see how they could make that make sense without retconning some of the BB story. I'm pretty sure Gus is gonna be on there too.

I just got to watch it tonight. It was pretty different from all of the other episodes so far, much more serious and dramatic, but man, it was really good. Mike was one of my favorite characters on Breaking Bad, and I'm really liking what we're seeing with his back story.

He was pretty thick with Saul through BB, so I'm pretty sure he's in for the long haul.

I said it before, but I think this show just keeps getting better every week.

Yeah I saw that too. People are complete morons. There were people that staged an actual "funeral" for Heisenberg and had a "procession" through Albuquerque and everything. The last ep of Better Call Saul was awesome for sure. That was a great twist that she was actually Mike's daughter in law as opposed to his daughter. I had just always assumed she was his daughter. I also loved the fact that they made another Matlock reference. I loved the reference to The Andy Griffith Show as well because as a southerner that show is an institution down here and a right of passage for kids to watch with their papaw. Some of my favorite memories as a kid are sitting in the recliner with my papaw laughing like crazy at that show. So I was glad to see it get a little love. Also I learned something and I'm guessing the rest of us did as well. When Mike bought that...um... thing he bought in the bathroom I asked my wife "do they REALLY sell those in bathrooms???" and she laughed and said "yeah but they call them 'feminine napkins". LOL. Did anyone else know that??? If so... a simple "yes" would suffice. I'd really rather not know HOW you know it. LOL.

Well we have 3 red lights in the whole county if that tells you anything. LOL. However, I've gotta say that I never go in women's bathrooms and had never heard the term "feminine napkin". I've made it 33yrs without hearing it and would have been fine with 33 more. LOL.

LOL!!! I was in line behind a guy that was buying them one time and I said "you are the greatest husband I've ever seen because I could never do that" and he just laughed and cashier, who was a woman, really got a kick out of that. My wife likes that "pink" stuff from Victoria's Secret and a few years ago she asked for some of those sweat pants for Christmas and she knows I hate stores like that but I went to get her a pair and I was extreeemely embarrassed to be in there and the women that worked there were absolutely dying laughing at me. That's the last time I've been there and I hope it stays that way. LOL.

Yeah I liked this episode too. I love when Saul tries to act like a good and upstanding guy. Him playing Bingo and dressing like Matlock is so funny. I can't wait til he gets his true office though because just the sight of his office cracks me up. I loved the Ned Flanders reference as well. One thing I was looking at was that big Wanted poster behind Mike when they were at the jail and one of the pictures looked like Pinkman. I don't think it was but it just made me think of him. It was up near the top left.
