... Getting Green back for the NE game. He, for sure, could make a difference (even though James played very well tonight).

    Unlikely.

With the way Jesse played, it would greatly assist no doubt but Jesse has proven to be good enough for Haley and Ben to work with his skill set and produce results; DeMarcus Ayers and Eli Rogers improving no doubt.

Green who? Outlaw has been flat out balling and everyone wants to replace him with someone who can't stay on the field. Crazy

Green either in the afccg or Superbowl...but we can't leave that talent on the sideline. And I love the play of Jesse " bang bang" James.. from day one!

I started the thread when we signed Green. I loved that signing more than anyone. He could be an enormous weapon here.

...and I think his career is over. Shame.

I think Green's career may be done before it started here.

It's too bad. Jesse had a nice game last night. He was more open than 7/11.

He's looking like the TE version of Duce Staley. In his limited time here, showed a lot of production and promise.. But can't stay on the field.

Not so confident Green will play again this year anymore. Would be a nice wrinkle to throw at NE but James came up big yesterday. Hopefully he can do some damage against NE.

The other thing you have to worry about if he comes back is if he plays tentative to not get hurt. I said this before, when he sits out this long, he is done. It's a shame because he had some talent.

Not necessarily replace him, but have more 2 TE sets which provide great run/pass options for Ben to check to at the line.

We scored 0 TD's yesterday. There's no reason to not want Green back for next weeks game. It gives us an element we don't have with just Jesse. Realistically we could trot both of them out with Bell, AB and Eli. Get Eli and James on either crossing routes or curls, get Brown on deeper routes, have Green doing both and have Bell doing his thing.

If Green can play, he has to play. Ben hit James with the same play Green scored with last night. It's funny because I said when it happened if that's Jesse James he doesn't score. Well he didn't score. That's the upside with Green. Outlaw is a great back-up if Green shows hiccups.

I agree, he had 5 catches for 83 yards last night, and probably should have had more targets than he got, give him a bigger role Sunday and let him use his 6-7 frame to jump ball over the smaller secondary.........

    That's a big IF...

And on the play Green scored on, he was actually behind the defense, not between zones like James who had defenders behind him.
