    Hahaha. You got me wrong.
    1. I didn't know about his improvement.
    2. I believe there is talent all over...Just More in the SEC.
    3. As far as the NFL v.s CFL...LoL. I never seen them play against each other.
    4. It's hard not 2 when 15 of the Last 30 National Champions have been SEC
    5. Burrows played not only the Top in the SEC that year, but Destroyed the ToP School of the Big 12, and the Top school of ACC
    6. Most players from any conference in todays NFL...69 more players then the next, and Way over 100 more than the next, and so on, and so on.
    7. I didn't mean any Harm by all this.

I'd steer clear of Pickett in Round One. Why?

Why is this important? It is due to the historical importance of Steelers QBs; big, mobile QBs with a howitzer of a arm. Pickett has has the big and mobile aspect down... but not the howitzer one.

That said, if he is available in Round 2? That is actually worth exploring if Pittsburgh goes in a different direction in Round 1; something I actually hope happens more and more now.

I’m a long way from saying that Pickett is “the guy,” but before Saturday’s game I read that he was 21-32 for 730 yards, 10 TDs and zero interceptions on passes targeted 20+ yards downfield. I have to watch Saturday’s game. He had 2 interceptions after going 23 TDs vs. 1 interception for the season prior to Saturday, and I want to see what kinds of mistakes he made. From what I’ve watched so far this season he sure looks like a guy who can be effective at the NFL level.

Phil Jurkovec is back. He wasn’t expected to play again this year, but he won vs. Va Tech 17-3 last night. Not a high volume passing outing, but he made some good throws, and showed excellent strength in shaking off tacklers. I decided to spend some time watching some of his 2020 tape, and it was interesting just how much he resembles a young Ben. He’s a gunslinger with a big arm, and can shake off guys in the pocket. He also has better foot speed than Ben ever had. He absolutely has NFL potential. This was supposed to be his breakout season, and he got hurt early in Week 2. I’m going to be watching him closely the rest of the year.

But still could not crack the ND starting lineup? He is a local kid, so there will be strong interest in him. His HS team won Pa State championship
should have went to Pitt and would have been a superstar by now.

You won’t see much. He was 7-13 in a very run heavy offensive performance. He had an early interception on a play that I think was more of a good, heads up defensive play than a terrible decision, but it was under thrown. He also had a beautiful deep ball in the 3rd quarter and a few other nice throws (one great one that was dropped).

If we struggle down the stretch like I think we will, one of these guys could be in play for us.

Colbert/the Steelers are scouting quarterbacks? Holy crap! I’m absolutely shocked they’re spending time doing such a thing.

The over/under in this game tonight is 73. I wouldn't be surprised to see the total over 100. You have 2 of the best QB's in college up against 2 terrible defenses.

Hey Rollers, I merged this into a thread in the Bill Nunn Draft Forum that you might find interesting. Covers the QB’s that the Steelers may pick in April.

It is very relevant. There are 21 teams that will have representatives at the game tonight, including 5 GM's.

Sam Howell has no OL, he gets back to set up and the pass rush
is there already. Put him or Kenny with a good team and you will have
a decent QB AKA Mac Jones.

I can't imagine Pickett will fall that far. Drafting a quarterback almost always means taking one a bit higher than makes you feel comfortable.
