That statement alone speaks volumes towards your blatant bias against Ben. I'm honestly sitting here laughing at how over the top anti Ben you are. Those people that say he's changed probably include some of the people who said he was an arrogant prick before, but that's not enough for you. Here's an example, Bradshaw was very openly critical of Ben back when he was being an idiot. Since the supposed turn around in Ben's life, Bradshaw has become at the very least quiet about things and one could even make the point a bit of a supporter of his now.

And to just to make my point clear, I don't condone Ben's past actions at all. I was very disappointed and embarrassed that our QB made the decisions he did, but I think there is enough evidence to show that he regrets his past actions and is maturing and trying to be a better man and a better QB for the Steelers.

Kids look up to athletes period. Maybe it shouldn't be that way, but they do. Its just reality. Thats why people expect a lot from them. Your comment saying you think people expect to much from athletes proves that. It is what it is, you can't change it. That is the public perception. Yes, there are plenty of good people that are athletes and plenty of bad ones, that is why i am very judgemental on this topic.

The people around Ben were not the ones saying he was messing up. It was comming from other places. Do i think Ben has gotten over the stage where he is going out and getting in trouble, Yes. But that doesn't change the fact that he still has not matured, No. T_E- You still do not address my examples for why i think these things.

I would not turn innocent things into more with those other players. Ben has a terrible reputation around the country. They don't. I'm not being picky on my reasons and i have plenty.

Sure its possible Ben and Art already talked. Its also possible they didn't. The moment his comments hit NFL live, Sports Center, PTI, Around the Horn, NFL total access, NFL radio, etc...the drama was made. I didn't start it. You don't think he could have answered the questions better to not have this happen?

I love the Steelers organization and i expect a lot from the people involved in it and i expect a lot from them.

Harristotle- I have my reasons and have given my examples, butYou don't address the examples i used at all.

Yes, Bradshaw has become quiet, but he hasn't gone on record to say he is a big supporter of Ben yet. They were trying to establish a relationship. I'm interested to see what he says about this. Only time will tell on that.

I hope he does improve, but All i am saying is right now Ben is arrogant and immature and my examples show that

If you have good parenting then your children won't look up to athletes, period. I've seen kids raised poorly and kids raised correctly and the later does not look up to athletes. If you have a good kid and he sees an athlete behaving badly he knows not to mimic it. This is fact because my nephews call out bad athletes all the time. It's simple, poor lazy parenting = misbehaving children.

I don't have quotes from people around him nor am I going to waste time looking for them but I can give the entire locker rooms silence on the subject as an example. Anytime when someone was asked about it no one would come to his defense, their silence spoke volume, now everyone in the locker room is behind Ben.

And I stick to my claim that if it were Brady, Breese or Rodgers you'd find something because the majority of people who have weighed in on this feel it was nothing.

I agree, good parenting can help, but these athletes are in the spotlight and kids will see the good and the bad. I'm not saying that kids will automatically do what they do, but kids idolize athletes and as a professional athlete i feel you have a right to do your best to be a good role model, especially when you are the face of a franchise. Thats my opinion.

T_E and Harristotle- I think we agree to disagree on Ben. I have my reasons and i'm sure you have yours. At the end of the day we are Steeler fans and i'm sure we agree on a lot of other points when it comes to the Steelers.
