Both these teams probably blow us out because it’s 2020

Tomlin coach of the year because it's 2020. They owe him one for last year, all he needed was to make the playoffs.

Like what I see from Burrow for sure. Definitley does not seem overwhelmed at all. He just seems overmatched as he does not have the horses to keep up with Cleveland as it stands. Give him another year and Penei Sewell will be the first of many reinforcements he will appreciate greatly.

Jonah Williams is settling in. The "Rookie Jitters" seem to be fading away a bit. He is holding is own against Myles Garrett. Speaking of which, outside of one pressure and one tackle, where has he been?!

    I disagree.

    Cincy's defense is that undergunned.

Idk, the Bengals might have the worst defense this side of Cleveland. That & the Ravens forced Baker to throw with the early blowout.

    Baker under pressure = turnover

37 for 61 That has to be a record amount of attempts for your second game in the NFL.

Burrows is for real. Now can the Bengals build around him remains to be seen but if they do our boys will be looking up at them for years to come.

    Not this post.

Wondering if you disagree if Burrows could have set a record with 61 attempts in only his second game or you don't fear that Burrows and a better Bengal team won't smoke a Deer led Steeler team in the future.

I think I heard the announcers say it's been done before by a couple of rookie qbs. One was A. Luck I think. None of them won the game. (Pass attempts)

I don't think Deer will be leading the Steelers ever, short career as a backup. The Bengals have a long, long way to go before they compete for the AFCN crown. Burrows can't do it by himself, I'm afraid they will ruin him ala A. Luck was ruined.

That is what I missed having to turn the sound off for sleeping people.

I know it is a ways off and I'm not sure an organization that kept Marvin Lewis for 16 years has the ability to build around Burrows. Burrows has always won, being a Bengal could mess with his mind.

The kid is much better than I thought he was. I'm not sure he can take the pounding he is for a few years. I've seen him compared to Luck & D. Carr, two QBs that had some terrible olines. Cincy should have kept the red rifle until they shored up that oline.

Burrows looked ok, for a rookie. I’m not blown away by the guy though.

I noticed Burrows holds the ball really low when dropping back... I suspect he will have quite a few fumbles this year...

I don't know. The Bengals always find a way to mess it up.
