I agree and think the Bengals could make some noise in the playoffs this year. Their Defense is very good. They have 2 first round picks next season. They will probably stick around for a few seasons.

the Bengals / Cards game was on on a tv next to the one i was watching the Steelers game on and the stadium looked half empty. its pretty sad when your team is fighting for a playoff spot for one of the few times in their less than elustrius history and you cant even show up to cheer for them.

im always hard on Steeler fans for leaving before the game is over, but atleast they are there when its starts.

This division has the possibilty of having 3 of 4 teams in playoffs.Id say that would make this a VERY strong division!!!...Name me a more competitive division in the NFL.

Very sad that they basically had to beg people to come. I mean the City of Pittsburgh and pirate fans hate Pirates ownership but if they ever made the playoffs, there wouldn't be a ticket to be had and you can take that to the bank.

I bet my buddy 5 dollars that they wouldn' sell out. Since they sold them as buy one get one free it essentially was half price. Looks like he will only get 2 1/2 bucks from me. Maybe I'll buy him 2 beers if the bengals actually win and the Steelers win as well to take the 2 seed.

    :this!:
With the distractions of T.O., Chad JOHNSON, and who'syomama gone, I think the Beagles will probably be pretty good for a while. Dalton looks like the real deal and A.J. is outstanding. If they stay healthy and out of the police lineups, we could have a worthy opponent in the AFC north.

I honestly think the main person holding the Bengals back at his point is Marvin Lewis. How he's kept his job over the last few years is beyond me.

    I disagree.

I think Marv's a good coach. He's been hamstrung by quitters, ego-maniacs, and locker room cancers. And thats on the FO (Mike Brown). IIRC, Marv didnt want Chris Henry back, but MB forced Chris upon him. The Bengs have finally gotten rid of those issues, so it will be interesting to see what he can do. So far so good.

Yep. He has money to throw away and he does it nearly every bengirls home game. The forecast for Sunday in Cincy is 42 degrees and raining at kickoff and 31 degrees + snow showers by the end of the game. I GAURANTEE he won't be in those stands. Being a sellout now, he may try to sell them to somebody but I doubt he even cares to.

I believe the Steelers have the 2nd longest waiting list for season tix behind that of Green Bay.

True enough, but I don't think Marv can be seen as entirely unresponsible for some of those things. The jury's out, I suppose (though I'll admit I didn't expect to seem them pushing for the play offs at the start of te season).

The real star in the Bengals coaching is Mike Zimmer, imo.
