Bengals and Bird****

For the sake of one game at a time, my concern this week is not only beating the Bengals, but staying healthy.

There is nothing the Bengals, and particularly Bird****, would like to do more than put us in bad playoff position by hurting key players.

 

Pats game won't matter if pitt drops either or both of these games. ..too much attention is being given to the pats game ,I just hope both teams are still tie in the standings when ne comes to pitt ...

 

Then why are you fixating on the Pats game so much? This is a Cincinnati post.

 

Honestly, this game concerns me for a couple of different reasons. First of all, as you said, these thugs have a history of trying to injure our players. Secondly, the offense will need to match it's recent success at home and produce points on the road, because our defense has regressed the last few weeks, and Cincy's offense has taken steps forward since we last played them.
To me, this game will be a real litmus test as to where this team stands as they head into the homestretch of the regular season.

 

I couldn't agree with this post more, frankly, I'm shocked to read about beating the Bengals. What a novel concept. At this point, the only thing that matters is 10-2, and of course, staying healthy.

Dude I like the Steelers too...it's not like Rams ever compete...Steelers compete every yr so I guess fans ONLY root for them....try being a fan of a loser team..

What's wrong with that? I'm a Penguins and Maple Leafs fan, although obviously I do have a true favourite team. Anytime the Leafs don't contend for the cup, I want the Pens to win it. Been a Pens fan since the Lemieux days. Nothing wrong with being a fan of two teams

I went to chargers steelers game couple yrs ago ,and I was rooting on the steelers. .I hate the Chargers .

 

Remember when JJ Watt said their intent was to make the Red Rifle look like a Red Ryder? That was some funny stuff. Steelers need to put the pressure on him all night long.

 

I enjoy football and hate the pats, idk exactly where I fit in...lol..I am a man without a country.

I love football almost as much as I love the Steelers, but I don't hate the Pats. I don't find they give me anything to hate them over. I never hate teams just due to their success, even if it is against my favourite team. I do despise the Bengals, just due to their criminal like attitude and playing style. I hate the Ravens, although I find that rivalry has died down a bit the last few years since they kind of suck.

 

I like the Steelers and their history, not sure what I can label myself as...

 

It's not about their success, it's about the arrogance of their fans, their hot shot qb who thinks he is a step above everyone else and rules don't apply to him...it's about all the cheating that was swept under the rug,it's about finding it hard to give them credit for their wins when every day is a different scandal ...so you see, I have no problem with teams being good and dominate in any sports...to me Walsh and montana were a better combo than brady and billicheat.
