Was anyone else annoyed that Ben targeted ab way too much? Don't get me wrong, a win is a win, but come on Ben can't continue to force these throws.

AB is the "go to guy" and has the best hands besides Heath and maybe even better hands than Heath. His catch on that deep ball over the corner was insane. Also he only had 5 catches today and that last pass was a gift from Ben fr how good he has been doing.

He was targeted like 13 times...

Hines Ward had even better hands than Brown but they always involved the other targets.

I am not complaining becuase AB is the best and is dangerous when he gets the ball, but they should use the other guys more to make Brown more effective, as defenses wont just simply try to lock him down.

Well Wheaton dropped a wide open one today and I'd say until guys start showing they need to be accounted for AB will still keep getting the most looks. I honestly want to see Heath get some more looks and want to see Bell more in the passing game because he runs good routes and he's effective in space.

Yes and no. You have to get that guy the ball, especially if you feel like you have a good matchup, so I don't disagree with it in principle. But there were definitely some plays where I just thought.... why?!?! There were a couple down in the red zone I really didn't get, especially the quick screen. That was a Bruce Arians play if I ever saw one.

relax..............11 different players caught passes in this game.. I would say that constitutes spreading the ball around

    CASE POINT CLOSED.
They only thing the offense needs to better is put up more points, and stop mental mistakes (i.e. turnovers in redzone and mostly penalties, that kill drives)

I know that's his guy but it's a long season too and that ball needs spread out more. ben seems to try and force a lot to AB with heavy coverage. spread the love and it will be easier to hit AB.

They spread it around a lot, do yo have figures that show a large differential? Because I just don't see that. As B&G said, there were 11 different targets, hell, even Palmer got a TD! :lolol:

that's good that other guys are getting involved, but it's pretty obvious that the majority go to 3 guys. rightfully so, but it seems to go in spurts. AB, bell, heath. I'd like to see it spread around to actually take some pressure off these three. it also makes defenses have to guess a lot more. as ben gets more comfortable with others we should see more of it.

He should have spread it around on that play where Heath was down at the 1/2 yard line..... I mean spread it right back to Heath...... not this Palmer guy..... My fantasy needed those 6 point to go to Heath. I don't know how much he targeted AB, all I could see was Red Zone TV..... and updates were very few and very far between.

That was the purpose of Lance Moore and Dri Archer to spread it around but they have been injured and Moore is probably in Haley's (and Tomlin's) doghouse

    I was thinking the same.

The good thing is, after an iffy pre-season, we know that Wheaton is a good no. 2 receiver. If AB starts to draw heavy coverage, then Wheaton can be utilised really well.

    Lol!

If we try that BA play against Baltimore Suggs will take it to the house. That play is absolutely predicated on blocking WHEN of IF it works. I actually hate that play when any team does it on any part of the field. I just always feel like that play has disaster written all over it. Too much risk for too little reward.

WAIT! Are you saying you DON'T have Michael Palmer on your fantasy team??? Well that what is the point of even playing?
