Ben has the most passing yards over the last two weeks.

Definitely his best game so far this year, but hey, you know, he's washed up

He's gotten better every game and when you consider what he is playing behind it's pretty impressive.

Today a guy asked me what's wrong with my Steelers and I told him it would be easier for me to say what is RIGHT with them and that would be Ben and that's about it. Hopefully Bell can be a big shot in the arm too.

He was phenomenal until he fumbled on 3rd down and cost the team any chance to tie the game.

Yeah we probably should release him outright and then start a reality show called "Who wants to be the next Steelers qb?" to find his replacement. It would really be THAT easy if you think about it. OR we could just go and get his replacement off of the franchise qb tree that grows franchise qbs constantly which explains why every team in the league has a franchise qb.

No way man we can just pluck one out of the crowd who will perform just as good as him. He sucks why did we ever draft him. The only reason we ever win is because if the defense even when he brings us from behind its still because of the d. I mean come on look at how many rings Malone, Brister, O'Donnell, Stewart, Miller, Tomzac, and Maddox have. Let's just start Jones he can do just as well.

I know dude! We never win games because of Ben. That td pass in Super Bowl 43 was a pass that any qb in the league can make and if we'd traded Ben the day before that game it wouldn't even have been close because we would have been up by like 89 points at least. In my opinion, the Rooney's legacy is totally tarnished by the fact that they didn't trade Ben before that game. You and I should start a thread about whether or not the Rooney's should sell the team and we will talk about what owners we would rather have. Nah that would be stupid.... oh wait....

This team is such an embarrassing they should just move them to anchorage. I mean we will just get another team right?

That fumble didn't mean ****, game ended with a sack, thank our wonderful line. Yeah I know, should have gotten rid of it, damn him for not having eyes in the back of his helmet.

Yeah. I would really like for all these guys to be cut and just get us some replacement players. Ben is just not a good enough qb to put us in a position to win games. He never has been really. I've always thought Ben was really horrible and have wanted to trade him. I was furious when the Raiders released Jamarcus Russell and we didn't make a play for him. I mean the guy tore it up in college and clearly that means he would be an awesome qb in the pros. I mean think of how Ben was a household name in college and went on to be a great pro qb. When we didn't get Russell and give him a $100 million contract I almost stopped being a Steelers fan at that very moment. I was even more mad than I was when we let Ryan Leaf get away.

Pretty sure that was a horse collar on the fumble. If not for him grabbing behind the pads, Ben throws that guy off like a fly as usual.

I heard Keanu Reeves was looking for a QB job! This is why I haven't been posting in a while. I feel bad enough that this team is 0-4 and I knew once I got on here all I would see is bench this guy, replace that guy, fire ALL the coaches, etc. I'm not done with this team until they hit 7 losses and when I say "done" I am not talking about being a fan because I will cheer for them 0-16. I'm talking about my hopes for the season. Some of these threads...wow!

He clearly held the ball too long on that last play. Even though he was swarmed in less than 2 seconds, he still should have thrown it. Brady and manning would have gotten it off in about 1.2 seconds. He's clearly past his prime and they should trade him and rebuild immediately.

I know dude. I've been on the verge of becoming even MORE insane because of some of the silliness. There needs to just flat out be a like a sub-forum for the rational and one for the irrational. LOL.

I don't know if I would trade him. I would just move him to linebacker because he clearly knows what it takes to get to a qb seeing as how he constantly has linebackers in his face. That might be the best idea I've had in minutes!!!

Ben gets all the blame when they loose and no credit when they win. he should of won the MVP in that super bowl without a doubt. sure Holmes made a great catch, but Ben threw the pass and on the play before he threw a perfect pass that Holmes dropped in the endzone.
