You get no argument from me on that. Bradshaw's Steelers only won 1 game the season before getting him and the rest is history.

Ben played with some of the guys you mention for an instant.

Bradshaw got to play his entire career with the best collection of talent ever assembled on a football field.

Bradshaw also played against defenses that were allowed to mug his wide receivers. For his first few years in the NFL he had no offensive coordinator. He also played against a bunch of hall of famers. So he is the greatest of all time for the Steelers You deny this????

You are 100 percent correct. Ben had a well stocked team around him and he won 2 superbowls. He is another hall of fame QB but is not as good as Bradshaw

I don't deny anything, but let's not act like only the other teams could mug Steelers wrs. The Steelers where also playing by the same rules. I don't know why it's hard to believe a Guy that did great with 2 different HCs, 5 Ocs, and only one HOF player for more than His 1st two years.....wouldn't be better with the best HC the Steelers ever had, and 9 HOF players most of His career(one who most say is the Greatest Steeler to ever play), and yet still went to 3 SBs, and won two. You deny this???

And some won't debate it, or even think about it, but it's easier to just say .....I'm right , and You are wrong.....without any thought of the matter.
The same people that say Bradshaw was better.....almost to a man say that Noll was the best HC of all time for the Steelers, and that Greene was the Greatest player the Steelers ever had. LoL
Yet Bradshaw played with both for most of His career....not counting the other 8 HOF players.....yet they don't even see the Hypocrisy of what they are saying. LoL.....Thats what I find funny.

He played with 2 for his 1st two years of His career.....that's all. Only 1 did He play with for any longer. You actually don't see the difference between that, and playing with 9 HOF players for most of their careers??? LoL. Come on

You are actually comparing playing with 2 guys for his first 2 years compared to playing with 9 HoF most of His career??? Come on....Hell Ben played against one of those so called guys that You said He played with in an AFC Championship, and beat Him to go on to a SB, or did You forget that. How Many times did Bradshaw play against one of His HoF players to get into a SB???? I will tell You..... never.

Faneca? Faneca plays LG. Unless Ben was playing linebacker vs. Jets... he didn't have to play against Faneca. :lolol:

So did Bradshaw have to do that??? You skipped over that part, or the part that He only played in Ben's 1st two years, or that the other HOF player that played with Ben for a whole two years probably wouldn't have gotten into the HOF if it wasn't for Ben making a game saving tackle on a fumble that He had, and would have never seen a SB. How about skipping over the part that if either played with Bradshaw their first two years wouldn't have ever seen a SB.....since it took Bradshaw longer than two years just to have a winning season. Final analysis....Ben Played with one HoF player longer than 2 years, and Bradshaw played with 9 most of His career. Big difference between HOF players, and Great players.

Do you actually see the difference in stepping your game up big time and putting the team on your shoulders at crucial moments in SUPER BOWLS and being average in Super Bowls save for one extraordinary drive? I give Ben credit for one of the greatest drives and TD passes in Super Bowl history, take that away and you've got barely average quarterback play. Bradshaw made extraordinary play after extraordinary play in three of the four Super Bowls he played in. Again, for the millionth time, this to me is what differentiates Bradshaw from Ben. They were both great QBs and we are fortunate to have had them both, but Bradshaw was the best in Steelers history because his performance in the biggest game was well above Ben's.

If you read my post carefully you'll note that I said "
The Steelers "mugging" other wide receivers does not translate into the question of which QB is better. Bradshaw played when defense was king. Now? Not so much. I cannot believe you won't admit that Bradshaw is the better QB. So I'll leave it here. "since it took Bradshaw longer than two years just to have a winning season. What was the record of the team just before Bradshaw arrived??? Let me tell you. They won one game. One. How many did the Steelers win before Kenny stepped in? You go look it up. It is amazing that in only two years Bradshaw led that team to a winning record. but never mind. I'm done

There should be an unwritten rule against debating between two Steeler players. No matter how it is discussed, one of them is always going to get slighted.

Again. What was the state of the Steelers at the time Bradshaw came on the scene? They won one game the year prior. The team was pretty much devoid of talent. How was the team when Kenny showed up? You keep harping on that two years. It is nothing short of miraculous that he was got a winner in two years.

If Marino played today with Clayton and Duper, he would put up numbers that would blow away Mr. Dink and Dunk.

    1971
    1. Frank Lewis
    2. Jack Ham there's a hall of famer
    3. Steve Davis.
    4. Gerry Mullins
    5. Melvin Holmes
    6. Ralph Anderson
    7.Worthy McClure.

    1972
    1. Franco Harris There's a hall of famer
    2. Gordon Gravelle
    3. John McMacin
    4. Ed Bradley
    5. Steve Furness
    6. Dennis Myer
    7. Robert Kelley

So tell me again how set up Terry was in his first two years with the team? Man I have to let this go. I'm done

This argument makes no sense because unless Doc Brown comes along with a Delorean equipped with a flux capacitor, we'll never know. What we do know is that Bradshaw won three world championships and Ben won two.

You mean Bradshaw won 4.
Yes I totally agree, and I never bring it up. I only answer to the blind following. I Myself never bring it up because I hate downing one to prop up the other. TB12 was My 1st jersey as a child. I still own it. It was the with the like decal type numbers, and half the name, and numbers are worn off.

Who said TB was set up His 1st two years.....goal post moved, or what??? How does this change He played with 9 HOF in every SB He played in, and Ben didn't??? How does this change He(Bradshaw)played with two of the Greatest Steelers ever....Greene, and Blount???
How does it change that He (Bradshaw) played for the best HC in the History of the Steelers, and Ben did His with two different HCs??? It didn't. If people would quit making Threads on it, or think every time they talk about one they must down Him.....I personally would never make the comparison. I don't like downing one for the other.
I just find it fun most the people that think the Greatest HC ever, and the Greatest Steelers player ever was with Bradshaw, and the worst coach by a lot on here was with Ben, and it make not a difference. That makes not a bit of sense. Can't have it both ways.
