I had Arthroscopic done on my knee for torn cartilage, I was back to work in 3 weeks, it gets done routinely all the time and the rehab is quick, Ben should be back to normal in 3 to 4 weeks in time to be at full strength when camp opens the end of July.......

Not sure how old you are TTF, but the older you get the harder it becomes to bounce back from "routine" knee surgeries (I'm not sure there is such a thing). As for the Marino comparison, Dan the Man was 95/5 arm/legs. Ben is more like 60/40 arm/legs. He relies on his escapability and running ability much more than Dan ever did so an "oil change" for Dan many mean an "engine overhaul" for Ben.

In your job, do you have 320 LB Beasts of Burden who run 4.75 40s chasing you around routinely?

(Sorry, Diamond, not trying to be a smart-aleck but I couldn't resist.) :smiley1:

I appreciate your point of view JA, but I think we're going to have to agree to disagree on this. :smiley1:

Bens 31, he's not 50, this surgery has no bearing on his playing once it's healed. Non factor.

I wish! If Ben were my age even I'd be more concerned. Of course Ben won't be playing at my age anyway so that's kind of moot :lolol:

Was about to say the same thing.

I think a revamped, re-energised and re-skilled offensive line will have a lot more to say on Ben's performance next season than this op.

Since 2009 Aaron rodgers sacks 168

    Ben roethlesberger 152

Granted skewed because it's only 4 years of sacks and doesn't take into account hits. Also Aaron hasn't been starting aslong either.
Point is they are 1 and 2 since 09.

Secretly, I think that Ben likes to be sacked. I think he holds the ball too long so that a defender has time to come and take him to the ground. I know people that are into that whole "pain" scene. I think there is a name for them and that Ben is one of them. Think about that!

But, he wasn`t riding his bike around, bare-chested, with tight leather leggings on, when he got "broad-sided"...:???:

Do we know what exact surgery is being performed? Sorry if I missed it.

This close to the season, after having prior months to get it done?

    Cutting it close.
